The problem with you Deeniacs is you are creating an imaginary issue. Not one person has a problem with Deena making oodles of money. The problem was the way Deena handled herself when she was rejected. By removing her entry in her blog it's proof that Deena believe it wrong too.

Deena, with her huge ego and 'me, me attitude' ; put the little blurb in her blog, thinking she would bring wrath down on the race and the promoters; never realizing in her insulated world of 'yes people', that the average runner would NOT see it her way; but see her as a self-absorbed prima donna. It backfired and she removed the blurb from her log. End of story.

Actually the people who are dragging this through Letsrun are the ones who are interested in bringing the wrath to Deena and by association the race director. Deena didn't post or link this here. She wasn't the stalker-hater-poster who screen saved her comments. You people are so FAR off target about what a class act Deena is it's not even funny. Obviously you have not done any homework on your elite athletes to have such an inaccurate opinion on her. And to base your opinion of someone based on a quote you have taken out of context and morphed into something far more evil than it was is a sign of mental illness. Good luck with that.
