The United States is going to be “very strongly involved” in Venezuela’s oil industry after the operation to capture Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, President Donald Trump told Fox News on Saturday.
He said:
We have the greatest oil companies in the world, the biggest, the greatest, and we’re going to be very much involved in it.
I wonder how Venezuelan citizens will feel about Trump plundering their national resources.
Chavez & Maduro have plundered Venezuela for the last 25 years. Socialism bankrupted the richest country in all of South America.
Trump will make Venezuela Great Again.

That country is too beautiful to not be great.
Next, Trump needs to conduct a similar operation in California.
Venezuela can be transformed to an economic powerhouse if they never again return to socialism. The people of Venezuela want democracy and there are future leaders who will embrace & promote capitalism.

there is also a glut of oil in supply currently and prices below $60/bbl discourage investment from most oil producers. And to your point, the government that is there currently may not let them come in so that can deter investment unless we remove more key people. Also, in 2007 Venezuela nationalized both Exxon's and ConocoPhillips assets, so why would US producers want to invest billions in such an unstable region as if the transition to a new regime is just going to be so smooth, like it was in the other countries we invaded? Chevron currently produces about a third of the oil coming out of Venezuela and is the only US producer currently there, I believe. (Total 900k barrels a day). But they have a lot of reserves and the oil from Venezuela is much thicker and would be more profitable for the refiners than the oil pumped in the US. If more stability and rebuilding of infrastructure come to the region I think we could see more investment from US producers in the region. Trump is the victor, and he wants the spoil. We'll see what the political ramifications of this end up being when all the talk was about drug trafficking and now it has shifted to oil.
What is more interesting is where the investment will come from? How much of the investment by US producers would be subsidized from the US govt in light of our fiscal situation and growing supply/demand imbalance in the US treasury market due to reversals in globalization that will only be exacerbated by this event, (see reactions of other countries supporting the sovereignty of Venezuela). Ultimately, I see this being more supportive of gold going from the lower left to the upper right.
“This war is ok because: [vomits 2 paragraphs of Current Thing Twitter conspiracies]”
Ok buddy
You think we’re at war with Venezuela? How would a man of low intellect like yourself define war?
I think he meant to respond to me, even though he responded to himself. But, if you go back and read what I wrote, you’ll notice,
A.) I never condoned a “war.”
B.) I merely said this is Obama 2.0 in terms of displacing an oil-rich despot who was opposed to a petrodollar hegemony with no Congressional approval. Because it is. Obama established the precedent.
Ultimately, Trump doesn’t care because he knows he’s out after three years, he might be neutered in another year, and he knows a third impeachment is coming. He also knows this is the last chance to destabilize the BRICS plus V axis, undermine a socialist regime which oppresses its people, and prevent a Chinese foothold in the Western Hemisphere in a resource rich country.
Now all of a sudden trump and his dumb ass maga fools want to help liberate Venezuela? Another day and another lie. This went from lying about small open outboard motor boats allegedly traveling 2,500 miles with drugs to kidnapping the president of Venezuela and taking over the government and oil reserves. All of which are illegal as hell anywhere
