TWO WORLD RECORDS BROKEN IN 2024! Most Girls Under 6:00 @ 1600 = 333! (Old record was 268 @ APU MOC Distance Classic) Most Boys Under 5:00 @ 1600 = 567! (Old record was 411 @ '23 DDF)
Noel Huato (Del Oro CS) is also looking pretty good. Yesterday at Red Estes he doubled on both 1600 and 3200 and won with times of 4:12 and 9:09 (he barely beat Conor Lott by a few milliseconds in the 3200)
Stefanopolous with that sombrero heat win, 4:10.46😮💨. Close battle between him and Pretre (4:10.79). Miles Cook and Ben Bouie were 5 seconds behind. Vacaville Sophomore Cooper Stream goes 4:16. Lowkey, looking forward to how the rising stars mile in Arcadia is going to look like- we need Antonio, Bay, and Ogilvie (apparently is injured atm) to be part of that race along with Stream.

Aydon was cruising. He has a lot more and was never really challenged. Definitely the class of that field.
I’m watching the live stream. Aydon looked good, I kinda had a feeling Cook wasn’t going to last after leading the whole race. I was lowkey rooting for Cooper Stream seeing how he was trying to keep up with Bouie and Cook
Also fun fact, the announcer for the Dublin Distance Fiesta is the dad of Isaac Abbott- who will be racing in the sombrero 3200 with guys like Stefanopolous, Fitchen-Young, Caldwell, Holman, and Sagiraju
