The allegations that boxers Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-ting failed a gender test were made by a governing body that has been permanently banned from the Olympics.
It is not a phobia to base an opinion on vetted, peer-reviewed science as opposed to ideologically driven "science" designed to bolster a false premise. It is not hate to state the truth. It is not unkind to stand up for the rights of women and girls for fair, safe sports and spaces. If name calling is all you have, you have nothing.
You were told in no uncertain terms that you don’t have the capacity to even distinguish science from a religious position.
What scientific experiment do you propose to do to validate your silly position that “XY is male… end of story”? There is none, but you are too demented to realize it.
LOL. Look at the DSD athletes that we have seen. They are clearly men. Don't give me this BS that we can't tell. If we couldn't tell, then we wouldn't be pointing it out on here when it happens!
Would you please retire this absurd argument? You've convinced nobody, and us regulars are getting sick of debunking your faulty logic over and over again.
Total obfuscation by IOC. Russian fudging “findings” of “irregularities,” with no proof or evidence. Boxers, coaches, news media claiming that the two are “men.” If you want to see how ridiculous this has become, just look at the arguments in Thomas Bach’s “explanation” of the situation: The two were “born female” – Wrong. There is no such thing. All babies are categorized at birth, by physician, midwife, parents and/or others. Most are correct, some are incorrect. In these cases it would be more accurate to say that they were probably miscategorized at birth. “Has always identified and lived as a woman” – totally irrelevant to this dispute. Doesn’t make them a female. “I always have felt female,” is a specious explanation. “Passport says female”– irrelevant to this dispute. They or someone else declared them “female” for international travel purposes. Doesn’t make them female. IOC President says (correcting himself) we’re not talking about trans here. Total obfuscation, gaslighting. We’re talking about DSD. Did anyone claim the two were trans, except the sensationalized media? The fact is that these two athletes “are not wholly male,” but they are not female, which should be the only criterion for entering the women’s division, in any sport. Chromosome should be the ONLY standard for judging eligibility to participate in Women’s Division. A chromosome test can easily be administered, but in this case, WHO administers it and WHO interprets it? The IOC washes its hands. Algeria and Philippines will not administer and even if they did, will very likely fudge the results. So, IBA? Russians? WADA? A commission appointed by the UN? This is a complete mess of the IOC’s and the IBA’s making. None of the explanations offered makes any sense. No one is in charge. The lunatics have taken over the asylum.
When all of this comes out like it eventually did with the Semenya case, articles like this are going to look like the 1984-level gaslighting that they are.
The IOC themselves earlier today formally retracted their statement saying that this wasn't a DSD case. Are they being paid off by Russians too? Bearing in mind they are the ones who enabled this travesty in the first place?

I would stop doing this when other people stop writing "I can easily tell a person with XY chromosome."

Why don't you try simply not responding to the drivel?
Says a guy who cannot tell the difference between trans and DSD. Just like a bunch of other guys who think this Algerian boxer is trans. You are in a "good" company.

This question was settled three decades ago. Y chromosome itself does not give anyone athletic advantage if the person's body cannot respond to androgen.

She wrote "people use pronouns based on what they visually observe."
I bet 100% of people use "her" to describe Alicia and Sara (and many other people with 46XY DSD) based on their "visual observation."
The Huff Post? In August 2024? Really? Yikes. Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel.
But by bringing the thread to a new low, you've given me a perfect opportunity to share another sterling example of the sort of unbiased coverage the Huff Post - and much of the supposedly "liberal" MSM - haave given to this particular sports controversy in the past few days.
Be forewarned, however, that you better have smelling salts on hand and a fainting couch close by because the Huff Post story I’m about to share and link to focuses on a heinous aspect of the story that many will find hard to read about without recoiling in shock and horror, then breaking down in a flood of tears - namely the “misgendering” of an adult male athlete competing in women’s Olympic sports.
Even worse, the misgendering that the Huff Post reports on like it’s the crime of the century was committed by another public figure who happens to be female - and who has form for speaking up to defend women’s hard-won rights to fairness and safety in sports and other realms of life.
Yes, I mean the evil uppity mouthy woman from the UK who fancies herself to be some kind of writer, JK Rowling. The Huff Post headline:
The "Harry Potter" author repeatedly referred to Algerian boxer Imane Khelif as a man, stubbornly ignoring the fact the athlete is a cis woman.
The horror, the horror!
How dare JK Rowling - or any other woman - have the audacity to recognize and publicly state the sex of a male athlete competing in women’s boxing at the Olympics. And in 2024 no less. Smh.

What on earth are you on about? At what point have I said the Algerian fellow is trans? I've repeatedly said he is 5ARD. I'm starting to worry all this time you spend looking up trans lads on Instagram is rotting your brain
It also reminds of me of the tongue-in-cheek pop song "Bad Russians" made by Russian artists in 1991 as the USSR government was collapsing and the oligarchs and mobsters were coming to the fore. I'll post a clip if I can find an English-language version.

You posted "kinks for trans women" after I posted photos of two people with DSD.

Did you think they were trans women?
Surprisingly enough I didn't click your links and was referring to your long-standing habit of posting such pics on any trans thread there is.

Irrelevant in this context. That person isn't going to be at the Olympics, since they are typically physically underdeveloped through not being responsive to androgen. So they aren't going to be subject to a test. Those that are competing and are XY respond to androgen. They therefore have an advantage. Like Semenya.
