Black Americans owned a mere 1% of GDP after the Civil War; it has risen to 2%. Such progress. But if it doesn't affect you, why should you care - as you have made clear.
How much GDP should people be awarded for throwing a ball in a hoop, or rapping about puxxx? What are African American studies about, if not focusing on Micheal Jordan and Michal Jackson? How does their success have anything to do with slavery?
