In order to compete, Hiltz has to choose. She qualifies for the female division so I have no complaint about it regardless of her preference for a non-binary personal designation. He choice doesn't cheat anyone.
Goose, dog, duck. Doesn't have the same ring as the catch phrase after the last Olympic team trials, but congratulations to Nuguse; he is having a hell of a year.
what's the standard? Waskom's Mile PB is equivalent to ~3:34.7
Standard is 3:34.2. That should be major points for Waskom though. If my math is correct around 1250, which will raise him up to the 50s in the next rankings (raising average from 1160 to 1190). Also he can chase and is in 3:33 shape or at least good enough to add another high ranking performance.
Yes. Not sure why people thought he wouldn’t be able to win in a kick.
Kessler, plenty of time, keep at it.
It's not that Yared couldn't win with a kick, it's that plenty of these other guys can kick just as well.
If you've watched sit & kick 1500s you've seen plenty of races where the favorites tripped, were bumped, were out kicked. WR holders, AR holders, etc. Don't leave it too close if you're faster than the field.
if Athing didn't go wide every time coming into the final straight she might've won this. 4:03 with a 59 close is insane, keeping pace with 4:18 milers and a 3:58 woman.
I was thinking the same thing. She must have run like 1510 meters by running so far off the rail. she was practically in lane 2.
Can you all just be quiet? This is only an issue on the internet. Go outside and touch grass. Those were some great 1500s. Please take this crap to the 100,000 other threads of Hiltz haters with clenched b holes.

Athing Mu really just wanted to stay out of trouble, and she was successful in doing that.
