Are you serious? Can you not see the disdain with which so many educated liberals view conservatives, moderates, or even non-intersectional leftists? The feeling of smug superiority with which many on the left view those who disagree with them has gone from a gently simmering pot to one boiling over with rage. But many are blind to their own rage because they've cloaked it in a veil of social justice--one that cares about the poor and marginalized only if those "folks" view society through their lens, which is ultimately a cult religious lens. On today's political left, it's okay to be classist, racist, misogynist, and ethnocentric if you dress it up as social justice. This allows white people to call conservative black people Uncle Toms without repercussions. POC people of all stripes can disguise their hatred of women by going after white women. Anybody can direct their jealousy and rage at white men, until those white men convert water into wine by declaring themselves women, at which point we must all kiss their feet. Anybody can sneer at Christians, and to some extent Jews if one argues that they have white privilege, for believing in a "sky God."
These same people sincerely believe that the world was created as a prison and that they (the educated elite liberals who are awake to the REAL nature of reality) have special knowledge that will free human beings from bondage and create heaven on earth. Like all religious zealots, the people who hold these views perpetrate all sorts of hate and harm while viewing themselves as harbingers of liberation and love. This mirror image of Westboro Baptist Church cannot see that its participants are, in effect, holding up a sign that reads "God Hates F*GS" because they are wholly convinced they're doing the good work. They're "on the right side of history."
What's the equivalent to "owning the libs?" It's the aggressive Big Brother ideology that calls itself love and pretends to rail against the establishment all the while being the establishment. "In this house we believe, black lives matter, women's rights are human rights, no human is illegal, science is real, love is love, kindness is everything." Don't debate the meaning of these slogans. You wouldn't want to be a hateful, mouth-breathing rightwinger, would you? You've been on the left your whole life? Okay, you mindless tool of Putin. Love is love. Kindness is everything. As they slowly poison your food.
