It's the sign of a truly sick society that the denial of abortion access causes this much of a fuss. Like is f*cking around really this important to people that not being able to kill kids makes people this angry? We can talk about how it abortion is "healthcare" and how a lack of abortion access harms poor black communities, when really the issue underneath all the bullsh!t is people just want to get their nut and not have to worry about the consequences. Sorry you people have to watch where you're slinging your dicks/pussies instead of killing kids but cry me a river. Maybe more people can just get their tubes tied if this is really such a high priority.
Yes. People don’t want to deal with a child for the rest of their lives because either:
They got drunk and made a mistake
A condom broke
A woman lied about being on birth control
The birth control didn’t work
Date rape
A relationship went bad right after sex.
Imagine having a baby with every nut.
Besides rape, all of these instances could have been avoided with some common sense. It's extremely easy not to get pregnant. You literally don't have to do anything not to get pregnant, so there's no excuse except for people's stupidity. Get your tubes tied and stop killing children out of convenience.
Conservatives didn’t care about abortion en masse until a few conservative oligarchs decided that they could rile up their uninformed base about it in the 90s.
"Liberals didn't care about gay marriage en masse until a few liberal oligarchs decided they could rile up their uninformed base about it in the 2000s"
"Northerners didn't care about slavery en masse until Lincoln decided they could rile up his uninformed base about it in the 1850s"
"Democrats didn't care about covid until big pharma decided they could rile up their uninformed base about it in 2020"
Got any more of these edgebro takes to share with us?
None of these are true. What I said is objectively true. Props for matching my elegant rhetorical style, now do better on the substance.

Yet, you still think a raped women should carry her baby to term. Telling.

You can really tell which posters have never felt any affection to/from a woman in their lives.

It's extremely easy to not force your religious beliefs on others too.
I see another idiot making idiotic comments. First off women are raped and victims of incest, not being a whore. Men are the reason for that. There are plenty of men whores who rape people. If men could get pregnant, you would be the first to be raped and impregnated you fool and then forced to have your b*****d baby if you live in a backwards a** state.

Getting tubes tied is a not insignificant intrapelvic surgery, and far more invasive procedure than a vasectomy, FYI.
More responsibility needs to be taken by males who are engaging in recreational sex. Right now the burden continues to fall almost exclusively on the females.
Now Democrats especially in New York are all in on #BodilyAutonomy #BodyAutonomy #MyBodyMyChoice
Meanwhile, they were silent as black women and other women and men were fired, denied employment, etc and their children segregated in schools over a... 'rona vaccine that does what in 2022?
It goes back to states rights. The country was founded on states having more rights and a less powerful central government. We've gone far from that since then.
While we're at it let states ban gay marriage, interracial marriage or anything else they deem morally questionable!
"Liberals didn't care about gay marriage en masse until a few liberal oligarchs decided they could rile up their uninformed base about it in the 2000s"
Hate to break it to you, but even Republicans have come around pretty quickly to approval of gay marriage.

Is that really your take? You think some "uninformed base" had to be fooled into thinking slavery was bad?

Pretty sure both Democrats and Republicans started taking Covid real seriously as soon as lots of cases suddenly popped up in mid-March. Everything changed over a span of about 2-3 days, not sure that was really long enough for big pharma to "rile up their uninformed base". As if big pharma had some kind of voter base. I remember exactly when it became political - Trump decided this thing was lingering on too long and might hurt his reelection, so he just declared that it was going to magically go away in time for Easter. And all the other Republicans soon followed in lockstep.

You don't know what I think. If abortion proponents were advocating for only early-term abortions in extreme circumstances (i.e. rape or indirect abortion as medical treatment), I'd be more sympathetic to the pro-choice/anti-life position but they're not and the numbers are very clear that's not why people want abortion to be legal. In fact I would even be supportive instances of rape, but would be even more supportive of adoption in that case. However, abortion advocates use those extreme examples as red-herrings for what they really want, which is abortion as birth control so people can f*ck with no responsibility. I can tell just by my social media and who gets angriest whenever these abortion issues crop up, and it's always the village bikes who go out partying every weekend that go on the angry social media tirades.
I like f*cking as much as anyone else, I'm human, but is ending a life really worth my promiscuity to me? Nah, not really, and that's pretty sad that there are people out there that really need sex with strangers so badly that they're willing to rationalize killing innocent children over it. You really have to ask yourself what your values are if that's the case.
Repeal the second amendment and let states decide if they want to ban guns.
Just because it was a Constitutional Amendment doesn’t mean it’s forever.
Go for it. You just need to get the votes. I doubt you can. Abortion was NEVER a constitutional right. This ruling sends it back to the states and corrects the errant ruling from 1973.
Get in touch with your representatives and get them on the ball with making a law via congress to solidify abortion. Or see if you can get the constitution amended to include abortion.

Right. Go for it. That will take 2/3rds of the Senate, 2/3rds of the house, and 75% of state legislatures to ratify, with an electorate where only 19% wants to ban guns. Good luck!
Wow. Everyone can have opinions, but there are lots of people on this running board who have no understanding of the law. Today's decision correctly interpreted the Constitution. Now it's a matter for legislators to decide. Vote for the legislator who matches your views. Democracy is a great thing.

Re: tubes tied - this is classically used to refer to fallopian tubes. I have never heard anyone refer to a vasectomy as "tubes tied." "Snipped", yes.
Also, this above post suggests people are rallying for willy-nilly abortions as a birth control method. That is NOT the case. Even the most effective forms of birth control have failure rates. Safe people who do all the right things have accidental pregnancies. Accidental pregnancies can happen after salpingectomies and IUDs, even after vasectomies. Safe abortions should be available because the majority of women going in for them experienced a failure of contraception with proper use.
