As we look at this Hegseth character and others in Trumps orbit, have we ever seen a larger group of bad character white guys that society allows to fail upwards?
These guys have no qualifications, they get dismissed repeatedly from the business and organizations for reasons that would ruin the lives of you and I. Yet their next position is a huge promotion. And in the case of Hegseth, he would potentially be running the largest most expensive and lethal organization in the world.
We've seen this before when Presidents nominate woefully under qualified people for positions of power. These nominations are usually made due to favoritism. Remember Michael Brown, who was doing "a heck of a job" after Katrina? He was an Arabian show horse judge. Had zero experience leading an organization as complicated as FEMA. He blew it, and people died. This should be a lesson that others would learn....but then, we have Trump.
Does anyone feel confident that Hegseth is the right man for the job if the US enters a real shooting war? I don't think the guy has a clue how to lead a department of this size and importance.
I prefer him over anyone who bends over for a defense contractor.

LOL. Hegseth (who has been accused of being drunk at work and a serial sexual abuser) seems like a real stand up guy to you? Someone who wouldn't maybe want to line his own pockets a little? Gimmie a break. Just wait until McDonnell Douglas or someone buys his mom a new house. Isn't that what Clarence Thomas, another upstanding conservative, did?

a possible alcoholic, completely unqualified, woman abuser, serial ruiner of non-profits, sporter of white supremacist tattoo, who even his mom thinks is a slimeball?
Definitely put that guy in the nuclear chain of command.
He looks good on TV after all.
Betting odds are 80% that he won't be sec def.
shows you what a threat to nat sec Trump is. He doesn't vet the people most responsible for national security. Trump either doesn't care or takes orders from Moscow. Not much of a middle position possible. Trump can't do the job.

Remember the idiots elected Trump to stop inflation. Let them suffer. Rich Dems aren’t going to suffer nearly as much as the poor Republicans.
MATTEL CEO: “.. we also intend to protect our gross margin. And what that means is .. to the extent we're impacted [by tariffs], we would expect to raise prices to offset it.”
You know not what you talk about;)
You can move agip, just move.
Things will be better under Trump. Accept it, or....move.
The only thing that stood out to me about the debate was how easily Harris was able to bait Trump into delving into the looney toon M#GA stuff. Trump just couldn't help himself even though it was clear his handlers tried to prep him to dodge issues like his statement that Harris wasn't black until recently. For all those who say that Trump is a mastermind playing 12 dimensional chess, he showed that he is actually an old dolt who is easily manipulated.
Otherwise, there were no surprises. Harris was very good and consistent with past performances. But she did not have a knockout blow moment either going after Trump or with any sort of soaring rhetoric about what a Harris administration would mean. The biggest miss was on immigration where she could have really taken control of the narrative by standing up for immigrants, drawing upon the country's history as being a place where people from around the world have come to find freedom and opportunity, huddled masses, etc. Instead, the emphasis was more on Harris is normal, competent, Trump is unhinged, can't be trusted, etc. That is a message for the blue check, p-hat, K-hive base who spend all day on social media griping about Trump's outrage of the day. But for swing voters and people who do not usually vote, that message is probably not going to do much for them as far as swinging them to Harris or getting them out to vote. That leaves to door open for another electoral college loss if Trump is able to squeak out wins in the Midwest, PA or AZ.
In the end, I think the debate was good for Harris in that people who did not know her that well will come out of the debate feeling good about voting for her, which may help turnout. Trump was Trump. He did not move the needle at all in his favor, but did not completely sh$t the bed.

Did he really “squeak out” the win?
something like the 3rd closest popular vote ever: just 1.5%, and trump didn't clear 50%
something like only 200,000 votes decided the WH in the swing states
As to point 6: Musk and Ramaswamy are also focused on the Biden administration’s moves to distribute money from a $400 billion clean-energy lending program inside the Energy Department and manufacturing grants to companies such as Intelthrough legislation aimed at reviving U.S. chip production. One clean-energy loan will help EV startup Rivian Automotive fund a plant in Georgia. Ramaswamy recently posted on X that the loan appeared to be a “political shot across the bow” at Musk and Tesla.
Biden weaponized the government against conservative voices.
I will bite. Biden is going to pardon despicable characters like Anthony Fauci, Adam Schiff, and Liz Cheney. These folks have earned the investigations that Kash Patel will undertake and the prosecutions that Bondi will launch.
Charles Kushner paid the price for his crimes and came out a better man. Manafort and Stone were not guilty of the crimes they were charged with. Hunter is still scamming the system. He took advantage of his father's name for his whole life. Those Trump pardoned were better citizens than Hunter. Joe better pardon his brother too or he may end up in jail himself with no one to pardon him.
see why joe had to pardon hunter?
this fascist bootlicker poster (or talented troll) will be very happy when the FBI harasses people who have committed no crimes but have different political beliefs than DJT.
The new FBI will harass people DJT doesn't like and the GOP is all there for it.
It's a new era, gents. More like North Korea than the old America.
Sounds more like the current era (at least for a month or so).

Kushner is a criminal.
On June 30, 2004, Kushner was fined $508,900 by the Federal Election Commission for contributing to Democratic political campaigns in the names of his partnerships when he lacked authorization to do so.[21] In 2005, following an investigation by the United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey, US Attorney Chris Christie negotiated a plea agreement with him, under which Kushner pleaded guilty to 18 counts of illegal campaign contributions, tax evasion, and witness tampering.[22][23][24] The witness tampering charge arose from Kushner's retaliation against William Schulder, his sister Esther's husband, who was cooperating with federal investigators against Kushner.[25] Kushner was sentenced to two years in prison.[22] He served 14 months at Federal Prison Camp, Montgomery in Alabama[26][27] before being sent to a halfway house in Newark, New Jersey, to complete his sentence.[26][27][28] He was released from prison on August 25, 2006
14 months? Paid the price?
What a surprise to see you pick out Kushner from that crowd!
Gee, I wonder why.
You literally can't help yourself. IT owns your very soul.

Yeah, it totally doesn't seem like those Fox hosts are bending over for anybody......
In a whistleblower report, former CVA employees said Pete Hegseth was frequently heavily intoxicated during official events to the point of having to be restrained, passing out, and shouting slogans calling for the death of Muslims. The report also said that he sexually pursued female employees and under his leadership the organization ignored allegations of sexual impropriety, including allegations of sexual assault.[9] According to reporting by The New Yorker, mismanagement and alcoholism concerns led to Hegseth's forced resignation from CVA in January 2016.[9]

The current Secretary of Defense is Lloyd Austin.
Lloyd Austin is an imbecile.
He has been a failure at every level. If the dude was white he would have washed out of the military as an O-5.
Instead he's a DEI 4 star.
There were 23 4 star generals between George Washing and George Patton. 23!
Now there's been 246 4 stars generals and 23 have been promoted since 2018.
The entire department is a giant money laundering scheme.

This is the magidiots cry. They weaponized (fill in govt agency here), so now we can do it much more. People with principles try to stop corruption, not justify it.
Fauci is responsible for the death of millions, destruction of the economy, hurt millions of young people’s education. Should be prosecuted like no other. He plus all the Russia Hoaxers, and J6 conspiracy actors. It would be fitting to have the tribunal in Minneapolis. Release Chauvin, put these criminals in his cell block while awaiting trial. Fauci can hide a cyanide pill in his tooth, ala Goering. Woke lib supporters should loose their voting rights, pilloried in the Town Square where normal people can throw feces and tomatoes.

Well, at least I know that a man cannot become a woman, Joe Biden was always an unscrupulous grifter, and Kamala Harris was an example of the failure of DEI.
when you've drank yourself out of multiple jobs, driven multiple nonprofits into bankruptcy, assaulted so many women that your own mom calls you out for it, had a baby mama, seven children from three wives, shout for the murder of muslims, are banned from the capitol because you aren't trusted....
You get elevated to Sec Def.
ma'aga!

You aren't just detached from reality, you don't even live in a world where reality is possible. Where you live, are there people in white coats checking on you often?
