So Vandy does what in the SEC with all the new hires? Seems like staff overkill and spending.

I think it was just a way for the AD to reward a coach, who came in and had a little success. Many people did not think she would be able to have any success from a sprints, hurdle, relay standpoint. Mizzoui has hired a nice size staff as well but nobody anticipates Mizzoui winning a SEC Championship anytime soon.

SB should take the LMU job if its open, and validate how "Great" he is at the next level. He gets some collegiate experience and a chance to validate how good he is. He could do this with any school. It's not too complicated. The other option he has is to convince a shoe company and or other sponsors to invest in him as a pro coach. I believe SB is a good coach, but I'd like to see more results at the collegiate level before buying in, or even the pro level.
Where is the current LMU coach going? Is this job actually open?

AT is smart, she is following similar to petros blueprint. They had success because of elite athletes on her team that are mainly throws and hep…Vandy is going to be the next Georgia (during petros time).

Didn't say Newell was overkill-he'sa great hire. My statement was overall. Yes, I think Vandy is doing what most P4 are doing or trying. If you have the money, I guess spend it.

they aren't going to consistently beat arkansas, florida, A&M, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, Alabama, Kentucky, Ole Miss or texas.

This upcoming year they’ll be behind Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, A&M, South Carolina, and LSU. So MAYBE 7th. Add in Texas the following year, and Vandy sneaking in the top half continues to look unlikely

*coaching a variety of skill levels, including novices, in one or more technique-event areas: jumps and/or hurdles and/or throws;
*at least two days/week at practice, with an emphasis on technique development;
*attendance at meets, which are typically weekends or Friday evenings;
*generating a supplementary training program--which other coaches or strength & conditioning staff could implement, if need be--for any practice days when you would not be present.In addition, these would be pluses:
a) attending practices on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and/or
