I'm still thinking about cross country. Once that's done, then I'll start worrying about what may happen indoors. However, I do wish indoor PSACs were somewhere besides ESU. Yes, I know most schools don't have an indoor track, or their track is like a wrestling mat, but still. ESU must get a lot of money each year for that.

How tough is the new Rock course compared to the one on campus? I only ran the one on campus, and that wasn't easy. I only saw and didn't run the newer one with the castle. That looks like a bitch.

East Stroudsburg does not receive money for the meet. They just get to do a lot of work and not be able to focus on their teams. PSAC is to cheap to pay for a nice place. It is a shame that we do not get to run at a better facility. Times would be better and a lot more people would qualify for nationals.

I hear the HJ'er from Ship is not around anymore and one of our good 400 runners is not eligible.

Da frachise is not jumping anymore, and i have no idea what you are talking about with the 400m runner. As far as i know everyone is getting good grades.

Edinboro is building a facility and i think cal is too, No idea when they are going to be ready though. so you can quit bitchin about doing all kinds of work.

Actaually you do have indoor track for men you just decline to participate. With some of your new track people who came in I bet Coach will run this indoor season at PSAC.-

Its been snowing 1-3 inches each day and melting off....It depends on what really happens from now till friday. It calls for snow every day. I spent most of the day at the course on Monday and the course started to get real muddy when the temp hit about 33 or 34 degrees cause all the snow melted.

Because we have been rolling the course so much it will benefit the course in not letting the moisture soak into the course as much.

All i can really say and I told this to Pat, Jeff, and the womens team...be prepared for anything really. it could 35 degrees and a complete mud fest. or 25 and cold as hell. or snow a half a foot...then bring your snow shoes...I can also garuntee it will not be above 40 degrees

It doesnt make sense to host conference and not have a team. You sure that you doesnt have indoor track for men.

Also to clarify, Edinboro's Mens indoor track team was dropped because of Title IX several years ago. Anything that you have heard otherwise is not true.

So, when parents and friends pay a ticket price to get into ESU for indoor PSAC championships, the conference gets to keep all the money? I would have thought some of it would go to ESU.

Don't get me wrong. I know that these ticket sales probably don't add up to much. But still. They get zero out of hosting a championship? That stinks!

I think it'd be sweet if Edinboro got an indoor track. Hopefully they put in good seating around the track. Either them or Cal. Good stuff.

How many people will go sub 15 in the psac this year? theres lots of good sophs who could be on the verge this year... lets go for 15 people at sub 15.

100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 5k, 10k ...weird

I definately can see the conference having to be sub15 to place for PSACS. I don't know about 15 kids going sub15. I mean besides weiss, reagan, and gracey...its pretty open. Add hahn and the other edinboro kid if they do indoor. And I guess I could see pom and the haven guys go sub 15 along with ship's beegle. Who else is there?

well yeah theres weiss, reagan, gracey, beegle, hahn, mclaughlin, pom, hilton, getz. then theres a bunch of other guys who have either had success in the 5k thus far, or a great cross season. Nate Shelly ran 15:07 last year and had an amazing cross season. Jason leonard ran around 15:15 last year and was successful in cross. Sean Stetler ran 15:20 and did well at xc psacs. George Walton was 12th in the region xc and put up some respectable 5ks in hs. Jed Yeats went 15:19 last year as well. Then there will always be a wild card, maybe someone who bumps up from the 1500 or down from the 10k

I can see 7 at most under 15. Not sure where Shelly ran 15:07 as I could not find it on IUP's website. If he did it had to be early in the year. Also not sure about his amazing cross country season as he is not running saturday. He did not even score at PSAC's outdoors. The question is how many will run under 14:00?

I think out of the improved list McLauglin, Neyhart, Getz, Shelly, and Hankins have real chances of breaking 15 and Gracey ran 29's for 8k this year so I am not sure if he will be in the mix

My estimation between indoor and outdoor is 11 sub 15 5k guys. Last year there were 9

Wow, guess I did miss a handful of people. But, I think I am still going to have to agree on a previous post that said there won't be around 15 people sub15 until outdoor. Indoor I can see around 8 or 9 though, so I agree with that prediction.
