Trump just said that we'll know in "two weeks" whether Russia wants to end the war.
TWO WEEKS, everyone!
So, exactly when he releases his healthcare plan (IT IS ALWAYS TWO WEEKS!), we'll know whether the war is going to end.
don-OLD "Two Weeks" Trump
No, this is even better than that. Pointy headed people have to come up with health care and infrastructure plans. And release tax returns....and grades....and...
Not this. Donny just gets on the phone and talks Vlad into having a conscience for the first time in his life. And Donny doesn't have one, HIMSELF !
It's incredible what that man can do!
We can all consider it done. The boys are coming home.
Serious question: Why would Putin bother to antagonize Trump? Whether it be via increased attacks that Trump responds to, or mocking statements from his government and media?
Assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that Putin doesn't have rock solid leverage over Trump (cue the pee tape!), why would Putin want to (apparently needlessly) antagonize Trump and risk that Trump MIGHT increase/continue military aid to Ukraine and/or increases sanctions against Russia?
Real answers only, please. I'm sincerely asking. Heard this question asked of an expert/pundit this past weekend, and the answer was totally unsatisfying.

.....so I'm coming to the geniuses of LRC for the answer! (how's THAT for embarrassing??)
"President Trump often seems to pick fights with anybody who has ever criticized or opposed him. But sometimes there’s a method to the hostility. Trump’s war with elite universities may have started as a personal vendetta. Some people who know Trump say he resents Ivy League elitists who have never given him an honorary degree or invited him to deliver a commencement speech. Though Trump himself graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, multiple bankruptcies undermine his own claim to be a highly educated business hotshot."

The bolded part above seems pretty obvious, of course.
But I don't recall that I've ever seen a great explanation for why he was, nonetheless, willing put 2 guys (Vance and Rubio) who have said TERRIBLE (and 100% accurate) things about him at the very top of his administration?

I'm pretty sure that just ONE tweet on the average night undermine any claim he might make to be "highly educated."
Nobody needs higher education anyway. Lutnick said we'd all be working in factories, they'd be so great our kids and grandkids would be working there too. Why go to college if you can bolt parts on stuff with your grandmother?

Whoa, bolting things already? We are starting with plastic golf balls and toilet plungers, right?
