If the crimes are grave enough with irrefutable proof, he will be impeached. If the crimes are not as grave with no simple and clear evidence, there will not be an impeachment proceeding, just a wrist slapping report from Mueller. However, it will be damaging enough to destroy his chances of being reelected. The compromise is that he won't be reelected one way or another, and that at least one of his closest people will take much of the blame. Leadership from the two parties will want to avoid a political crisis, so unless the crime is very grave with clear and direct evidence, he will serve out this term.

Trump clearly doesn't understand the role of the FBI...among many other things.

Trump is clearly backed into a corner and trying to do anything he can to discredit anyone looking into his crooked dealings.

The discussion has gone from no collusion to you can't indict a President (which is not true...the DOJ has a policy that you can't indict a SITTING President, but he could be listed as a co-conspirator, removed from office and then indicted. OR, Mueller and Rosenstein could decide that the crimes are so bad that they are willing to challenge the DOJ policy all the way up to the Supreme Court. At some point there is a line that can't be crossed as no one is above the law. If he murdered someone, they would indict him. So, what else would be unacceptable? Surely something. Conspiring with a foreign enemy country to throw our election toward him just might be over the line).

The FBI will be found to have done nothing wrong.

I have said that more than once. I also added what was left out - "It is possible that some of the above will drop off as part of a plea, but what is left will be enough to end Trump's presidency."

We will have to see what the vehicle for these charges is...will Mueller go against DOJ policy and indict Trump? Will there egregious actions by the President simply be listed in a report to Congress? Will Mueller indict all the others and list Trump as a co-conspirator to be dealt with legally after he is out of office? Time will tell.

I say that he will not be able to last the remainder of this first term...either impeached and convicted or by resignation. IF I am wrong about that, his punishment will just happen after his first term ends...but he will not escape punishment. Could be removal from office, fines, prison time, loss of his business, any or all of that.
