we are living on different planets here. You are for a scorched earth policy in DC and make up nonsense about how mcconnell was working inside some kind of precedent. he wasn't. He created a precedent. At least you do accept he broke new ground by not holding a vote. Good on you for that.
As for the filibuster....it's just a rule the senate made up one year. it's not in the constitution, it wasn't practiced for generations, it's just a way one senate decided to do things. We don't need to use it - it's fundamentlly undemocratic after all. We might have the only legislature that can't pass bills with a majority vote.
