I laugh at how you are bashing people and asking us why we run. Obviously you have no respect for the sport or the people in it. Not everybody runs for the same reasons. I mean yea, if I wanted to be hardcore and serious I would be, but it doesn't fit my personality.

I came to college to have years to look back on and say I had a good time running and hanging out and making friends. So yea will I knock back a few beers with my friends, most likely. Will I knock out few cases in a week?..eh....probably....some nights when I know its time to get focused will I?...Yes, cuz I know there is a time and place and its my responsibility as a member on my team.

All in all, running is a hobby to me and I enjoy doing it and being part of a team, while also having fun...Cheers

Point taken, you are not a real runner because it does not fit your personality. You should do intramurals instead of taking up a spot on a varsity team.

Forget about being a real runner..why don't some of these jerkoffs get lives rather than talking trash on the boards about the PSAC conference. I mean, they could be great runners and all, but that's about all they are in the grand picture of things.

I'm proud to be a PSAC runner, but I left the board for various reasons, mostly the BS rather than the good chatter between friends about races.

So this Saturday, I get to see my first race of the season, D2 Nationals. Make it a great one!

So with the snow on the course, how slow do we predict times to be?

I am betting no one will cross the line before 31:30, anyone else?

Many, many athletes are going to be coming to D2 nats pissed off. Ha, I can picture their faces when warming up the course the day before. Looks like it's going to be a race for the toughest athlete rather than the fastest.

This was always my favorite kind of race, because I would beat a lot more runners on a day like this, than on a 70 degree day.

Yea I could give up my varsity spot, but I guess I have natural talent so I think I will enjoy my collegiate running career and be proud to be part of the PSAC family.

What can I say, guess I also have a life that coincides with running. Who would have thought?

Anyways, enough of that nonsense. Can't wait to see everyone at NATS this wknd!...GO PSAC! REPRESENT!

I was a pretty big slacker in college and I don't think I recall ever even considering skipping practice to drink/post on this message board.

Wish I could say the same about your intelligence. Again you show your lack of intelligence. I doubt if you even scored a 1000 on the SAT's. Show me where I bragged about being so good or how great I was. You seem to have a problem with reading as well as running. Again, please show me or shut up.

The point is that you should be an intramural runner and not take up space on a varsity team. Varsity should be for real runners who take it seriously and try to achieve their best.

back to reality, the forecast for this weekend is just above freezing, 35 degrees. That may be worse than it being below freezing. The mud coming down that back hill and the one section we pass 5 times is could be real bad.

Well obviously you don't know me and what I do with my life. I think you are under the impression all I do is drink and get wasted all the time. Its called balance and having a life. Then when the time comes around, I do what is needed to be done for my team when it counts. And I have the teammates and coach to back me up on that.

What is your purpose to be on this thread anyways. I mean if your not a fan of PSAC, why are you still on here or even care? I mean you come up here with an attitude thinking that you know everything there is to living the running lifestyle and demeaning us. Glad running is your life, good for you. being a first-timer on the board I did not expect to see this kinda crap. with Nationals being Saturday there is a lot of excitment and in just two weeks many of us will open up the track season.

who are some new people who will have an impact indoors for men and women? will SRU, SHIP, and LOCK HAVEN dominate again? tell us who your top recruits are.

I'm still thinking about cross country. Once that's done, then I'll start worrying about what may happen indoors. However, I do wish indoor PSACs were somewhere besides ESU. Yes, I know most schools don't have an indoor track, or their track is like a wrestling mat, but still. ESU must get a lot of money each year for that.

How tough is the new Rock course compared to the one on campus? I only ran the one on campus, and that wasn't easy. I only saw and didn't run the newer one with the castle. That looks like a bitch.
