So Pattysue replaced him at UCSB? I thought she was added to the staff, but not at his expense.
Umm, ucsb doesn’t have the budget for two distance coaches. Vijay cut loose the guy who also wanted the head job and hired a family friend in PattiSue.
I wonder if Zarb will have any athletes follow him to CSUN. 🤣
McGlaston was an eight-time All-American as a student-athlete; the hurdler holds one indoor (60m hurdles) and two outdoor (100m hurdles, 4x100m relay) top 10...
Yea they let him go- to bring in a senior citizen- she is replacing one of the most hig energy coaches out there who led a storied LMU team to its highest ever finish and was only at UCSB for like 11 months with no director.
I can’t believe this was the first big play by the new director. Zarb is beloved and he just set several bridge Ablaze.
im sure PSP is a nice and good human. But this move gets a grade F

Zarb would have brought back the team talent Dolan had but following NCAA rules. Not sure what resources he has at Northridge but I would’nt be surprised if CSNU is beating UCSB within a couple years if not sooner.
"Replacing 'high energy' with world-class expertise? Sounds like a win to me. Patti Sue Plummer isn't just any coach—she’s a two-time Olympian, Stanford Hall of Famer, and has a track record of turning good athletes into great ones. Age isn’t a liability when it’s backed by decades of success and a passion for the sport that never fades. If this move gets an F, it’s only because PSP's about to take this team to an A+ level."

This is bizarre as heck. He was doing very very well at LMU… they cut the team… get gets UCSB and isn’t even given a chance and then they bring in some old Olympian. Has she even ever coached before??
