Congrats to Andy (FOD Runner) on his sub 33 10k. Very nice.
Andy (FOD runner) hit his sub 33 10k target (32:56). He's got a few 5ks lined up aiming for sub 16 which I'd be reasonable confident.
First time I've met him in person, he was genuinely lovely. You could tell from people's interaction with him he's well liked.
Same with Running Brooms, obviously well liked in local running community. By age grading Dawn is absolutely smashing it.
There's (relatively a small time) YTber Connor Rogers who continues to topple PBs (30:48 at same race). He's a good lad and doesn't take himself too seriously, worth a watch.
FOD Runner gets some bashing in here for potentially overtraining but he has even said himself he is just trying tomorrow get the most out of the time in his week he has to train. He's juggling a job and kids and somehow hitting sensation times for an absolute huge man. Longer distances must be difficult with his frame
I stuck to the plan 📈 It was hard to stick to the plan, when that gun goes in a race environment my competitive side comes out 🦁 7th 15k in. (stopped to have a week twice). Finished 2nd by a minute. To a Cypriot local 👏🏻...
it's apparently, according to the mods, attacking another poster. Bester's post implies that he would've won had he not peed twice in the race. The endless hydration mixes literally all Running YouTubers hawk have stuff on the back of the packet that says, daily recommended dosage: one per day. Why? LMNT has 34% of the recommended daily sodium in one pack. Bester himself is sponsored by AG1, SIS, and of course Ketone-IQ. And yes, he won a giant beer mug for placing second. He even posted a photo of it:
I don't see how saying someone might've had to pee less if they weren't popping AG1, Ketonen-IQ and SIS hydration tablets all the time is a personal attack.

I have no idea why your previous post was deleted, even though I disagreed with it wasn’t hateful at all.
Thanks buddy, it was great to see you too! despite the shoe mishaps on the day you absolutely flew! The brooms are lovely and so is Connor, great guy! So humbling to be in a field like that… you think you run mega quick then you realise you came 101st (chip place) 😂
If Ben F really is injured again then this will be absolutely calamitous timing, as he's apparently just about to go back for another stint in Iten = yet another 3 week block of high-altitude elliptical? The parallels are stark though as here, just like last time, he has a quad niggle and then immediately races a HM on it which makes it worse
Yeah, rookie mistake as well.
He raced a half marathon on the Sunday and then follows that with a Double Threshold on the Tuesday (with a fairly intense finish). He's then immediately injured.
Cole will be the next one joining Ben is Begging on the bench.
125 mile week including a day off the Sat/Sunday over 20 mile runs are a lovely nail in the coffin. cant believe Ellis Cross allows this guy to say hes his coach as no one will touch him with a barge pole if he has any input into this (i suspect he really doesnt but Cole seems like a thoroughly uncoachable/self-glory obsessed character).
all he needs to do is chill out, run a couple of sessions a week with a long run but no doubt, he will find a way to fk it up

I don't get why you would absolutely wreck yourself training if you have a lot of obligations outside training. In fact, you should probably do the opposite, take that into account and dial down ever more.

I clocked Cole has been putting some "huge" training in. It's the speed of the runs which is eye watering.
Strava stalked Ellis Cross, and Ellis does not do this. In fact he's on low end of intensity of someone his level. So Ellis is either prescribing with a methodology he doesn't do himself (odd, and unlikely but could be case) or Cole is just using Ellis for guidance, rather than a coach.

Ben Felton finally posts an update about his silence/injury status on his IG story, but can't even finish the video before turning to shilling electrolytes. Couldn't even do it in a separate upload fml
