everyday Trump's "mandate" (which is something fjb, ghost and the usual right wingers dream of doing with Trump) gets smaller.
Dude now didn't even get 50% of the voters, one of the smallest victories ever.
I don't expect the idiots who don't even recognize that Trump lost in 2020 to accept this but who cares. They are losers you worship a fat blob and think he is the pinnacle of manhood.
President-elect Donald Trump's Nov. 26 sentencing date in his New York hush money case has been cancelled as the judge considers how to proceed in light of Trump's election victory.
Before his election victory, Trump argued that his 34 felony convictions should be tossed out based on the Supreme Court's July 1 presidential immunity decision. On Nov. 10, after his victory, Trump lawyer Emil Bove argued in an email to Judge Juan Merchan that the case should also be dismissed based on the election, in order to "avoid unconstitutional impediments to President Trump's ability to govern."
The sentencing cancellation was listed on the New York criminal court docket as of Tuesday morning.

Winning by an electoral college landslide and winning the popular vote by a historic margin isn't a "mandate"? The voters resoundingly rejected Kamala and Democrats.

Apparently, as totals are finalized, more people voted against Trump than voted for him. In addition, in 4/5 of the battle ground states, Republicans lost Senate races. The Republican house majority is one of the slimmest in history.
While it was an electoral college beatdown (albeit, not at Obama levels), there isn't much of a mandate here.

You count people who voted for Jill Stein, Chase Oliver, or RFK as Kamala voters? Insane

Where did I say that? "More people voted against Trump than voted for him" does not mean they are Kamala voters. It means they wanted someone other than Trump.

Fine. Then even more people voted against Kamala.
Wrong again buddy. They were voting against Jill Stein, a known Russian asset.
Lanslide EC? 6 more points than Biden 2020 and far behind both Obama margins is a landslide?
How was the popular vote margin historic margin? It is far behind recent winning margins.
0 for 2. Just the facts.
Wrong on both counts, dumba$$. No Republican had won the popular vote since 2004. He won all 7 swing states and has positioned Minnesota, Virginia, New Hampshire, and even New Jersey / New Mexico to be the real swing states of 2028.
The Electoral College overstates the victory. As final tallies come in, Trump won a narrow majority and apparently didn't get 50% of the popular vote. The house win was one of the narrowest in history, and the Republicans won only 1 of 5 Senate battleground states (PA).
I fully expect Republicans to overreach. If they manage to succeed on things people care about (immigration, prices), they'll likely do ok. If they don't, they'll lose the House in the midterms. The Senate is harder, because the 2026 map favors Republicans no matter what happens.
