Robert Young fakes run across America

On his website, Young describes himself as an accomplished triathlete, who only took up extreme distance running in 2014. He writes that he has run the equivalent of 476 marathons in 420 days, winning 96 of them.

According to this, they are calling Asher a liar since they are claiming they have footage where Rob is RUNNING past the car wash 9 minutes after the RV passes.

That was deliberate twisting of the facts to make their case look less hopeless.

This guy is 100% full of it. Him and his supporters keep telling people to go run with him as if that'll prove he is honest and ran every step of the first half. Since Jesus has been referenced before, it's like a fanatic claiming to others that if only they had been there they'd believe in the miracles too.

If I can get the timestamp data back from the Mojave Desert breakdown day (May 18), I can combine it with a few other recently unearthed things to make a definitive case that RY cheated on that day. But they took that data down, and all I see on the KML file are random digits. A little help?

There's no time data in those kml files. They are nothing but a set of lat/long coordinates.

Rojo, regarding cameras, a poster named "FOIA is your friend" on p. 119 mentions that he has requests out for 27 such cameras.

I believe Rob on his night running gear. Not only do I dress in black for night runs but I also paint my hands and face black too. I will also use black electrical tape for my shoes. Pretty standard. Move along, nothing to see here.

I'm sorry, but the concept that the RV got ahead while escorting him and did not know they had lost him is laughable. They have one task and that is to escort him. Now, if they claimed that they had gone ahead to the Piggly Wiggly, leaving RY to fend for himself in his black ninja running outfit on the highway in the dark, I could buy that. But to claim that they were escorting him at 6mph and lost him and only realized this after he borrowed a strangers cell phone to call them is, to put it mildly, laughable.

Now is the time to ask Laz to request the cell phone log of the crew drivers phone who received this call from the abandoned RY. Think they can make that up in their call history? Maybe they can provide the number and we can verify with this stranger?

^^This. If it had been a three-legged martian wearing a polka dot leotard riding an elliptigo through Emporia at 10:43 PM, the RV crew would've identified it as Rob.

That sucks. So if I understand you correctly, we have no way to access the time and location of the tracker that was posted on their website until two days ago? Has anyone asked them why they took that info down (not that they would answer)?

I really like this approach. Perhaps list 10 items at $1000 a time. This will really put the boot on the other foot. Bet he is unable to produce anything.

Need to put a time stipulation to make data tampering harder. He says he already has the data. His crew should be able to upload it within an hour.

Sorry. I get you are the grand master of the site but the window on what yall would like to do has kind of passed. He's either going to burn himself out (now that he actually has to try) and call it for "injury" and then blame letsrun for being mean to him OR he's going to walk it in and claim success at overcoming adversity.

There's not much to accomplish with some kind of wacky cash reward. What needs to happen is better understanding of what happened out west. Those numbers are gold (or bullshit depending on your perspective). And maybe more scrutiny of existing video before he got nabbed. But what happens from here forward is really based on whether he can keep things moving while Laz, or whoever might replace Laz in a week, is there.
