As many on the left and Europeans have been saying forever (and very annoyingly to me before Trump), America is arguably a very “simple” country. Clear evidence:
- Vast majority of Americans (including me) couldn’t even rudimentally explain the causes of inflation. - Vast majority couldn’t tie inflation to the actions of Biden.
- Have no idea how our post-Covid inflation compared to the rest of the world.
- Have EVERY reason in the world to understand that Trump doesn’t care about other humans. - Every reason to be utterly unconvinced of Trump’s ability to fix things or even be basically competent.
- Despite all of the above, comes to conclusion: The economy is most important, and we need to “CHANGE back to Trump, because HE will make it better. (along with all of the very clear non-economic risks that come with him).
As I’ve said many times, I’m glad that I don’t make a living from trying to figure out how to make irrational thinkers think rationally. But above DOES represent objectively irrational thought. And lines up with a popular vote victory!! God (or someone) help us.

The dems ran a campaign telling Americans that the economy is actually good and that you’re a bigot if you don’t support transgender policy. Comparing inflation of the US to other countries doesn’t make the typical American feel any better about spending $1k more on basic needs than they did 4 years ago. Telling “simple” Americans that wanting a secure border is racist, doesn’t alleviate their concerns of illegal aliens committing violent crimes.
If many dems think like you, then the republicans will continue to win political races. Youre so locked in a bubble that you’re blaming the voters. Never blame the voters, blame the party that couldn’t convince them to vote for their platform. At this point, the dems have made policy dogmatic and it cost them the presidency, senate, and Congress. Look for Trump to continue appointing conservative judges as well. “Elections have consequences”.

5 - The big “improvements” in transgender tolerance across America (it was REALLY important, so I assume that Trump is going to be great at rolling back the tolerance nationwide).

Harris couldn't answer what she might do differently from Biden. Her team had to know someone would ask her this question and yet she was totally unprepared.
Harris didn't have a simple answer for trying to lower prices. Worse, they effectively gaslit voters by telling them continually that things were great.
She had no answer for the border.

I don’t think Trump can fix everything, but Kamala said she couldn’t think of anything she’d do differently than Biden. If you’re unhappy with the status quo, why vote for it again? She made the decision easy for a lot of voters.
