What the hell does having a "show" have to do with coaching at USC. Bogus hire by the coach, will face backlash for not hiring a skilled, experienced, seasoned coach for such a storied program. She has hired a staff full of inexperienced black guys that she can obviously control. USC..United Sprints Crew!

Do you want her to hire inexperience white guys so that they can run to the ADs if they do not like what she is doing like was the case at schools like Clemson and Tennessee to name two examples?
He will do a great job at USC.
Should have went with better examples. Both needed to be removed from their position. One a cheat, one a bad head coach.

The Claremont Mudd Scripps head coaching job is now available. I heard the head coach is pregnant and resigned as head coach. Now, that is a very good job to have.

Kendra Reimer - the outgoing CMS coach - was announced as the new coach at San Francisco State on Tuesday.
Which distance coach left? The head distance(male) or the assistant(female)? The guy has been there 2 years and the young lady 1. If it was the guy, where did he jump ship to, and if it was the female, who now has her filling their need for that box to be checked off on gender compliance?
Still doesn't change the fact that they were black head coaches taken down by inexperienced white guys; so good for Smith-G for hiring inexperience black guys instead of going with the other option that all I am saying.
Long Beach State has a head cross country coach to hire. Patrick Wales-Dinan left LBST to take the distance coaching job at Harvard. Its a pretty good job. But distance coaches don't stay at Long Beach State for more than two or three years. Not sure if its the poor pay, or something else. I don't know who the front runner is. But cross country season starts in a little more than a week.
One was taken down for driving an SEC program into the ground. He was taken down by himself, it was in the works for years. One was taken down for a variety of reasons that have yet to surface, but again his own actions led to his termination.

As I said his show is promoting track and field. Anytime someone of his athletic caliber does something to promote track and field I think its a good thing. I think he is more then qualified. Too many people get caught up thinking professional athletes are not qualified to coach at the college level much less any level. Being a coach as an All American and Olympian will probably win over many recruits as that's what they aspire to be. Time will tell though if he is good or not though right?
Whats going on at Arizona State with this sprints/hurdles position?
Any word on Yale or Dartmouth assistant jobs?

Neither does coaching highschool.
The Hillsdale Head Coach Jeff Forino went to Dartmouth and they hired Moose Akanno not to long ago as well.
Arizona state is a distance assistant job? Anyone know?
