As for Trump, follow the money.
People voted for him even though he did not release his taxes after saying he would. That was a bad start.
There is a shell company called Essential Consulting, LLC owned by Trump's lawyer seemingly set up just to funnel money in and out to make transactions hard to trace. Mueller has the bank details.
We know Stormy Daniels was paid through it. We know Cohen was reimbursed by Trump. We know Russian Oligarchs have sent hundreds of thousands of dollars to it since the election. Corporations have paid in as well.
What else does Mueller know about this and what else has he yet to find out?
Plenty of evidence there to show cause to continue the investigation.
This is some dirty, dirty stuff.
I must give credit where credit is due. Trump was CORRECT when he said:
"I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters."
If that statement is to be updated it might be something along these lines:
"Trump could stand in the halls of congress and shoot any Democrat (and possibly any Republican) congressman and the (remaining) Republicans in congress would cheer (as would Lying Gary, Hardloper, Jamin, Rigged for Hillary . . .)"
It is difficult to envision this spineless, unethical congress removing Trump from office under any circumstances. And it is difficult to envision the likes of Lying Gary et al. not applauding their actions to officially render the U.S. a banana republic.
