Back in the day, we were often (1-2 times a week) asked to 86 someone from the bar. That was definitely the lingo/patois. I had no idea we were actually being asked to kill the guys. None of us appeared to take the directive in that way.

A few times, we beat the living sh!t out of a guy. They provoked it by getting 86'ed in the first place, and we took the opportunity to pummel them until the cops arrived. I got to say that was awesome. Total adrenaline rush. Hard to get back to work after something like that.
