I am genuinely curious, is the big push for 100s of millions of dollars of "aid" for israel purely political? I mean I can see Ukraine needs money or they die. But is Israel so destitute that one day into a fight with the G strip they need aid? Im not anti aid guy, I think we need to be "world police" on some level, that has been proven right many times. But why does Isarael need money from the get go? I thought they were fairly well established with army and requisite military service and money? Are they poor?
