Now we have information that huge sums of money were taken in by Michael Cohen through his LLC, Essential Consulting. This is the same LLC that paid Stormy Daniels.
Massive payments were made by AT&T, Novartis, and, get this, the Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg. These payments totaled at least $4.4 million. The entities who paid Cohen had important matters to be decided by the Trump administration.
The only question now is, "Where did the money go?" If it went to Trump or the Trump Organization, he might be impeached much sooner than we thought.
I really thought that this whole thing wouldn't be wrapped up until well into 2019. But this looks like a case of bribery. If it can be shown conclusively that Trump took bribes then the clown is going to be done really, really soon.
I don't think even Republicans in congress will be able to protect the president. After all, this isn't just a case of "how do you interpret high crimes and misdemeanors?" This is potential bribery. And bribery is explicitly given as grounds for impeachment.
To quote our beloved Constitution:
There is little doubt Mueller’s team has been triangulating payment flows across different schemes with timing of communications and certain events. For example, if said Stormy payment disbursement is followed by a receipt in a different vehicle and it turns out Cohen and Trump spoke multiple times around those days and some email contains reference to the payment and it was a week before the election it is very hard to stab Trump didn’t know.
The stormy stuff is just an appetizer. Now we have corporations and Russians involved, and that’s just one shell company. If Trump is questioned by Mueller he is finished without a doubt.
According to Stormy Daniels' current lawyer Michael Avenatti, he has evidence of frequent and specific communications between Daniels' previous lawyer and Michael Cohen about the urgency to get the payment to her before the election. This makes it not only a Campaign Finance Violation but makes it fall into the area of a felony. Did Trump know about it? Avenatti says of course he did.
