I am right and it will be proven so.
You have even less reason today than any day previous to be feeling to froggy. It will not end well for Trump.
What if he doesn't run for re-election in 2020?
1) I believe he will resign or be removed before the 2020 election.
2) If he doesn't run in 2020 (technically he is running now, but if he's not really eligible to be elected in 2020), at least we wouldn't have to have him in office any longer and wouldn't have to hear his lies every day on the campaign trail leading up to the election, BUT that's not enough, and I don't think it will be. He WILL be indicted if we get past the 2020 election and he's not running and Mueller hasn't given us his report yet. Pence or whomever the president is then (Republican or Democrat) could pardon him, but accepting a pardon means admitting guilt, so I will be right.
3) The only way the Trumpers here can be right is if Trump doesn't get impeached (not even convicted) and that this all just goes away and he is found not guilty of anything. They've said it is all a hoax, a partisan witch hunt. They've said Mueller isn't coming. He IS coming. 23 people have either been indicted or admitted guilt so far. How does anyone in their right mind believe that Trump is not involved here? Crazy time.
Mueller is coming.

Trump's rigged election paid for with Russian mob money wrote:
Yup. Trump's rigged election paid for with Russian mob money means prosecution of Trump. Collusion > Russia gets Trump elected by promising to be nice to them > Russian trolls hot the internet creating fake news and fake Trump support posts > Russian mobster give millions in dirty money to Trump and his minions > Trump wallows in the mob money > Trump gets caught and goes to jail > Prisoners (bad hombres and people from sh!thole countries) take care of Trump they way he should be > RIP Trump.
Well, to be clear, I don't hope for any physical harm to our Orange President, so I hope it doesn't go down the way you suggest. Unlike our President, I believe in the rule of law, and that doesn't involve him being harmed while in prison.
The most important thing to our nation and the world is to have Trump removed from office, and he will be. That will serve as some sort of deterrent for future dictator wannabes here, but it would be even better if somehow he served some prison time. It needs to be made clear that working with a foreign country to affect our election is not acceptable. Initially I didn't wish prison for him, but now I do...he has just lied too much and shown how guilty he is while continuing to call others names and rip at our law and watch dog institutions. Would be wrong for him to escape prison (though he likely will; if I'm wrong about anything, him escaping prison will be it). Absolutely no ownership and no remorse and lying all the way...that needs to be punished (now THIS is a wish or a hope; it is NOT a wish that he WILL pay a big price, because he WILL). At a minimum, regarding prison, he will watch Don Jr. serve prison time (knowing full well that he was involved just as much if not more), UNLESS there is some sort of plea that involves Don Jr. escaping jail if Trump resigns or some such thing.
Kushner will spend time in prison too, but as Giuliani said, he's "disposable". Nice. Trump will throw anyone under the bus as long as it isn't him...probably even Don Jr.
I think it’s too much to hope that any Trumps will serve jail time. Watergate and IranContra cured me of the instinct to hope that major players ever get what they deserve.

Even if Republican voters do “come home”, to Trump Clown Show this November, the GOP candidates this fall, a big question will be which way undecided and independent voters break — and right now, they don’t like the president. Given this and the broad support among independents for the Mueller investigation, it’s hard to see how a sustained confrontation with him will help GOP candidates among independent voters.
But, the election is not today. Lots of unknowns between May and November and voters typically have very, very short memory. That means the voter's dialog is sort of like "What have you done for me lately.... What is my uninformed feeling on...." All of which may be only 7-10 days of vague memory.
It might be the midterms generate enough interest this time to get some new midterm voters out. And maybe it's more Trump-friendly voters than anyone else! Or, maybe the Right is running a bunch of bad candidates and the Left is "less bad."
I would not get your hopes up too high.
You are right to be cautious. Voters typically do have very very short memories, especially Trumpers.
While I don't subscribe to this idea, for someone who isn't overly optimistic about the whole thing, it would seem to me that a midterm election in which the Democrats take back the House and a lot of seats in the Senate (not necessarily the majority there) MIGHT mobilize Republicans in 2020.
I'm fine with it if a decent person of a Republican is elected president. It just can't be Trump...he is amoral.
I think Lindsey Graham would be a great president. Would be cool if he came out of the closet too, but I'm not expecting that. John Kasich is a reasonable person even though I disagree with him on a lot of things. No one has to be the great person that Obama is, but it will be nice to not have a genuine a$$hole as our President next time.

You guys missed what the comment stated. Trumpsters will "come home", many Republicans will "come home", but the independents the Republicans are counting on are not "coming home". In other words, the Trumpers have a lot more work to do than Democrats. Trump just jerked up the West Virginia GOP Senate race.
Only Trumpers will take Melania's personal task seriously.

Standard is just "Ukraine." I believe "the Ukraine" is how Russians refer to it and, correct me if I'm wrong, I think prefixing "the" to countries was something the Soviet Union used to diminish sovereignty of it's regions. So basically, saying "the Ukraine" would be diminutive to Ukrainians.
And you voted for this nut job.

Deflection.
Hillary isn't our President. Bill isn't our President. Obama isn't our President.
Trump is our President.
What is Trump?
He is a serial liar, a racist, a sexist, a misogynist, an adulterer to such an extreme that he has a slush fund to pay for such things, a criminal in many ways that WILL be proven, someone who stiffs people and banks to the point that he can not get a loan in the United States anymore (so he works with Russian banks...shocker!), someone who demands loyalty and then doesn't give it in return, a dictator wannabe, and a genuine a$$hole.
What information from Fox News have you digested that has made you feel so confident? You really have no basis to be.
You should know that what I say will happen WILL happen. I'm not even excited about it...it is so clear that it will be anti-climactic for me. Apparently it will be shocking to you (though it shouldn't be). For me, it will be just like the sun came up.
You HAVE to know that Trump is in big trouble. I can understand how this is disappointing to you, but, sometimes heroes don't always turn out to be what they promised. There will be no wall. Mexico will never and was never going to pay for it. Hillary is not locked up (hope you can ultimately see the irony there). Trump (Mr. "Two Corinthians") claims to be a Christian yet he has broken just about all of the Ten Commandments, and it is very possible he is the father of the aborted fetus that resulted in the $1.6 million payment to the Playboy woman. Nice.
So, your hero has turned bad. As Neil Cavuto of Fox News said, "That's your stink Mr. President. That's your swamp."
It is freeing to admit that your hero has not panned out. Not your fault. You were geeked about an anti-establishment candidate, and that's fine, but you choose a crook to back. Read that again...he is a crook.
You'll feel better if you finally cut the cord, brother. Maybe you'll have a nice 7-shade crap afterwards.
Your biggest hero - Donald J. Trump
My biggest hero - Fred Rodgers...a Presbyterian minister who took his ministry to PBS so that children could feel better about themselves.
Which hero is better? Time to drop yours, brother.
Fred Rogers.
I'm sure he will forgive me.
