2012 Coaching Openings

I don't understand; we have a Track coach that was going to get almost $500,000 a year. Now she is suspended, and no one in our entire country knows why she is suspended or what are the main items in the NCAA investigation of her program ?!?!

Apparently Pitt interviewed two guys at least. One from Missouri and one from UNC, though I don't think either are there at the moment. I will allow you all to speculate from there.

Vaughn can coach. He proved that at Washington. Yes, he was let go at UW and UCLA. I do not think it was because of his coaching. Maybe he didn't get along with the head coaches he worked for. In any case he is the head man now at Cal State - LA.

Does anyone find it weird that CSLA's former coach was let go, and is now an assistant at UCLA, and their new coach is basically trading places?

Probably will not hear anything, as most NCAA coaches are down in Orlando, Fl for annual coaches convention.

Word on the street is that Jim Lear is taking the job. He coached Pitt distance from around 1985 to 1994 before moving to Duquesne.
