Something different is happening in the assistant market. There used to be a relatively consistent scale where a D1 program had 2-4 full time asst jobs at $40-80k, D2 had 1-3 at $30-60k, and D3 had 0-2 at $25-40. Now its kind of all over the map and the D1's that were relying on $30k/year or GA's or volunteers might soon be feeling a squeeze.

They also need to diversify. Try and recruit some kids from out of state. The recruiting has been lazy.
