Great commentary on Eurosport, two blokes. No Radcliffe or Jenny Meadows, hooray, women don't make good commentators for some reason or other.

He should post here, he'd fit right in

Both of them would be great. I'd also add Geoffrey Kamworor. I think Kamworor could be in 2:02-2:03 shape right now
The target is ...1:59.

What does he mean?
She's strong, independent and brilliant.

I don't think that's true. It's just that Shalane is an athlete, not a natural communicator. The worst commentating I ever heard was for the Boston Marathon when Desi and Yuki won in the cold and that was two older guys.

I mean like 2:02-2:03 in Berlin or London. He could definitely be a possible challenger for sub 2 in a controlled setting like INEOS

Wow, you people will complain about anything. Give her a break or turn the volume off. Whiners!
Did I just see Jakob elbow and push Eliud!?!

LOL!!! Ya think? That's why they are putting this one, to break 2 hours. You do know that he came within 26 seconds 2 years ago, right? Geez

Like when those guys said Yuki would be carrying a piano?
Im watching with the audio off because my wife is asleep next to me. They domt have closer captions. Are they on pace?

Hey fuckface, we're talking about Kamworor. Not Kipchoge
This post was removed.
They could have done a lot more with this. Easily could have had his heart rate being monitored and tracked live on the feed.
I don't care what anyone says. Experiment or not, this is pretty awesome. The crowd is pretty crazy in places and it's fun seeing all the notable elites doing the pacing, as well as interviews etc. Cool to see Chris Froome there.
Someone tripping up Kipchoge? He seemed to recover. Times fluctuating between -11 to -9 second target. Pretty consistent.

For some reason NBC Sports and most American sports broadcasters ALWAYS pick the worst commentators for the endurance sports. Not track and field per se, but definitely the races longer than 15 mins. Especially the Marathon and Cycling.

Exactly. Or they'd say he was long gone when he was right on the screen.
