To an average working chump like me it seems nealy impossible to burn through $50+ million but I know those guys do it. Too much money at too young of an age?

“Who else” would include Ben Watson. He bumps up that average age. But I don’t think having an “old” team is bad. Philly has the second oldest team and they aren’t slouches either. There’s something to be said for this age thing.

Some Heisman Trophy winners peak in college. Some peak in college because they get beat into hamburger in college. Other Heisman winners peak in college because running QBs in college often do not continue to improve in N.F.L. Lamar Jackson is an unique talent who has been matched up with a very intelligent football coach, J Harbaugh. Jackson is smart and athletic. Others were average in college, not really a good athlete but the right coach gets the most out of an athlete. That's Tom Brady. Belichick benched Bledsoe because Bledsoe threw the ball down field and had the ball intercepted to Belichick's displeasure. Did anyone here on let'srun see Brady throw out a first pitch at a Boston Red Sox game? He looked like a 75 year old politician throwing a baseball. Belichick has put Brady together like Frankenstein's Monster.
