meb 3 minutes behind leader at 35k
This commentator dude cracks me up. He does not know how to read a pace chart because he is confused between kms and miles. He did, however, pronounce Wanjiru's name correctly a few minutes back. Ooops, back to Wanjiri again.
5k splits so far 14.08, 14.22, 14.42, 15.02, 15.21, 15.00, 14.43. If they hold 3min kms the rest of the way they'll run high 2.04s.
he in ninth and most of original lead pack dropping big time

Sopcast isn't working either. Can someone just paste the link of their feed? I'm dying here.
I don't know how to find the direct link of the feed, sorry...it's this page:

Gharib ten back, Kebede with Wanjiru
This little Ethiopian is the person I was concerned about. He has run all his marathons in 2:06 and has a fast half marathon as well. I hope Wanjiru spared something for the last five km.
Can we PLEASE go back to see the women finishing!!!

Don't these elite runners wear chips so that their split times can get immediately uploaded to a website that these announcers can see on their laptop in real time and then relay that to the audience in an intelligent manner?
You'd think they'd have this kind of technology for a marathon like London.
This is just goofy.
Science of the Sport RIPPING the coverage. Can't say I blame them. Scroll down past the charts to read:

23rd mile 4:56, Wanjiru slowing a bit
Announcers still can't buy a clock

Thanks for the try but universl sports isn't working for me, that's why I was trying other links. The justin tv was working, and then randomly decided to become a frozen ad for a european motorcycle or some awful shit. If they run a WR and I don't see it live its just a straight slap in the face for staying up for this. Goddammit.
Are you trying to watch Universal Sports in Firefox? That didn't work for me, but I can see it in Safari.
