Mallard out as coach at Arizona State. Joke of a head coach Dion miller addressed team on zoom today claiming it was administrative decision just a week after getting in heated conflicts with mallard and jumps coach. Dion has done a terrible job managing coaches as well as hiring young and inexperienced coaches that can’t manage coaching vs in appropriate athlete relationships.
Quit posting stuff like this! There’s no place for it! Hiding behind a screen and bashing on someone and harming their reputation is wrong! I don’t care if it’s true or not it’s not your place to make it more known. State your name if you’re going to post stuff like this!!!
Chill out Dion, no need for so many exclamation points. You're known to yell at people, but there is no need to yell through a computer screen. No one is going to post their names, this is a forum, where information is shared anonymously. What has been posted so far is true and everyone knows it.
Dion is a joke of a head coach. He isn’t a true leader. He doesn’t advocate for his team or athletes. He makes broken promises about the future of the program that gets worse every year, women got last place in big 12. He won’t even travel with the team, he will fly to meets while the team takes a bus.
They will probably go with someone who has Badger background. An alumni from the Schumacher era or one of Mick’s former distance assistants if they want a distance director.
They could also promote someone on staff and then hire a distance coach with podium xc experience.

Just promote Associate Head Coach Jackson. He has head coach experience, great recruiter and does very well without much scholarship $ towards his event groups. If he is head, they will be a balanced program that can win more than just B1G cross titles.
ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington alumnus and associate head coach Brandon Berger, who recently celebrated his 25th year on the UTA athletics staff, has been named
Word in the SEC is a big time distance position will be opening up at the conclusion of the Outdoor season if there aren't significant points scored at the SEC Championships AND the NCAA Championships
Definitely Mizzou. A lot of guys waiting to get in the portal/already left the team and lost their only American recruit. Will need a lot out of their Kenyans at NCAAs…
Seriously doubt this. Mizzou Administration has never ever cared how well their track and cross country teams perform in order to keep their jobs. That being said, the current xc coach is killing it compared to the ones the previous 40 years! Takes time and he has def brought them up and will keep climbing.

No shock. Everyone who was left mizzou recently has got better. Can’t hide from it. We will see if a couple individuals can save his job.
