3:59.41. lolz
3:59.41 for SC
what's lame (among other things about this situation) is that he'll be credited as like the 4th D3 runner ever to go under 4...I imagine the other guys who did it were D3 athletes their entire careers? ASTERISK.

Impressive run by Seth running a sub four minute mile probably equal to round 339 to 341 for 1500 and he recently ran 7:54 for 3000 indoors so he's reached a new level and good for him even though there are some people who view his performances as negatively for whatever reason. At Iowa State he was like a 4:10 type miler so he's reached a completely new different level and he's (probably ) as clean as a whistle most likely having been tested since the debacle at Iowa State.
Let this dude, S.C. get on with his running career. He's faced a lot of stress.
Thank you.
Please explain what is lame.
Seth Clevenger has reached a new level and he's not yet at the very top national level, with Wolfe, Blanks, Fisher, Young, Hocker, Teare and co but with that sub-four minute mile it will enable him to reach a new level in outdoor track as well and I'm predicting possible times of the following in the outdoor 2026 track season.
1500: 3:38.00-3:39.00
3000: 7:40.00-7:45.00
5000: 13:18.00-13:25.00
10,000: 27:49.00-28:20.00
Dude has reached a new level. He deserves kudos.
Rowan coach is doing a great job.
For the naysayers let's recognize that Seth's progress has been outstanding in the last few weeks and we don't yet know his ceiling but it looks very high.
Dude (S.C.) is strong - what I mean is he's psychologically and physically very strong - U .S. Marine corps type of strong because a lot of people after the Iowa State debacle would have crumbled psychologically and never regained their former athletic level but he's gone on to a new different level despite all the negativity surrounding his transfer and that demonstrates a stoicism and strength of character which portends future greatness.
Other individuals might have just faded into the woodwork (and mediocrity) and kept their head down but Seth has had the courage to continue fighting and he's now showing a super impressive level in Division 3 and that shows a strength of character rare for someone facing all these challenges.
One has to respect that. Dude is strong.
No quote. That is complete sentence.

Maybe you can find a third thread to copy and paste this nonsense to?
The guy deserves a lot of credit.

he's not going to get it here, though.
Of course he is. It is only 2 or 3 jealous children who continue to spread false rumors.
He seems to keep all the negative comments out of his head and work hard. A lot of respect. Keep going Seth! Keep working hard.

Why did he leave ISU?

Seth Clevenger, who was apart of the earlier Iowa State scandal, has officially transferred to division 3 program Rowan University in Glassboro NJ. Based off his performance at Nuttycombe this October where he ran 23:37 (he ran 24:40 in 2024 LOL), placing 19th and beating the likes of Tayvon Kitchen and Leo Young, he will without a doubt be a contender to win the D3 national title in both the 3k and 5k (and 2026 XC). 1 week after his breakthrough performance, Iowa State suspended him for "violating team rules" (whatever that means). Fast forward 1 month later and he's going back to his home state of NJ. Anyone else find it ridiculous that there hasn't been more information on this entire scandal? Not accusing Seth of anything, but until there is more information on why ISU suspended him, he should not be able to race for Rowan.
You're wrong. Tffers says he ran a 24:10 at prenationals in 2024. Prenationals 2024 was the Nuttycombe course. LOL Stating wrong information that can easily be accessed. Hopefully you're not a detective. Maybe false accusations and being alone in Iowa led to mental health issues. Just saying we have no clue what is going on.
He is saving money at Rowan.
