Looks like Brendo has alumni serving as personal pacers for his 10Kers. Y’all would hate it if the Oles did this

Didn't the Oles do this indoors and literally no one cared?
The Future runs 8:49 in his D1 debut. And looks like Luther was canceled during the 1500. Not sure that’s a legal meet with so few running events completed. The Gusties writeup is quite entertaining.
“For the women, Molly Liston and Anna Gould dominated the 10,000m, placing first and second in 40:23.24 and 40:23.50” I’m not sure you can dominate a two-person race if you run it together. But go on you Golden Gusties.

How many events make a meet legal? It’s on TFRRS, so must be legal right?
A small sample size for AOTW this week with holiday and weather issues.
Men's
Sprints - Ferrin Pryce, Bethel runs sub 15 in the 110's.
Mid Distance - St. Peter edges McCoy at Hamline to take the MIAC lead two days after racing at home.
Distance - nothing to report
Throws - Cooper had a tremendous day at the Embry Riddle meet, throwing 18.31 and 55.25
Jumps -I'm tempted to say Watson's 14.14 Triple Jump, but I'll give the nod to Flunker with his 1.95m HJ clearance yesterday
.Women's -
Sprints - Roghan-Press of Macalester takes the MIAC lead in the 200 & 400. Her 53.98 was especially impressive and is tops in D3.
Mid-Distance - Teammate Kate Fox of soling a 4:39 and even beating a Gopher was outstanding. She'll need to run faster to make the national meet though.
Distance - Mary Kenney of CSB seized a 14 second MIAC lead in the steeple.
Jumps - Abby Lovelace continued the Cobber excellence at Embry-Riddle, moving into 7th in the country in the Heptathlon with a score of 4322. That's more than a 300 point improvement from her time at John's Hopkins.
Throws - Nora Larsen had quite a day at Hamline, but we'll go with MIAC discus runner-up Olivia Duncan's outstanding opener in not so great conditions.
Looks like lots to look forward to this week with 5kers at Platteville, Bethel hosting a massive meet, Olaf hosting their first meet with Patti in charge, Gusties taking the long journey to Mankato, and the Cobbers competing at NDSU. Hopefully the weather cooperates.

Wish the new regime would make meet entries viewable. He had a ton of faults, but Chunko never hid entries.

Just say you don't watch track bro...
Hoisington went 3:58 conference lead
Yeah its mid distance but still
McCabe conference lead 15:28, Isaiah Fitzgerald with a 5 paragraph essay on his 15:30
Give us content man!!!
McCabe was the week before. 3:58 is good, but not fast.
Getting ready to tackle the new week 🤪🤯🤑
You can see the entries at Bethel and Platteville.
Cole going to Rik a 5 Friday. Hoping he’s in the same heat as Turlington. Would be fun to see them with together. How many Johnnies will run sub 15?
Looks like the new Ole coach learned from Power. Seeding a school record 4 x 100 to open the season is impressive swagger to say the least. Sub 44 is usually a good time for them.
Sir, this is a distance chat
Bethel has entered their A team versus their alumni at their home meet
If it goes any way how indoor went, they're about to get gapped by both LAX and their graduate students
The Bethel meet is stacked! I am probably most excited about the 200, but the 800 is also loaded. It’s great that they post all entries.
Lelinga got hurt at Nats, so they probably won’t run sub 3:10 yet, but Bethel has a stable of 400 studs. They’ll be the fastest in the MIAC by 7 seconds.
Surprised nobody commented on the 5.7 winds the Gusties enjoyed Wednesday. Not sure how those count for MIAC qualifying.
Power submitted a proposal that the had a maximum of 4.0 like the nationals list, but that would have excluded most Cobber meets so it failed. I don’t think he passed a single proposal despite leading the MIAC in suggested changes. The MIAC meetings will be much better now.
Outstanding run by Cole with a 14:26 PR! And best seeding job of the night with Maxwell seeding him in 14:27!
What a night for Stencel and Turlington! We know both would liked their school records, but nice results this early in the Outdoor season. Tyler Edwards is also back. And the Ole coaching upgrade continues as every Ole who raced had a nominal PB. Although I’m sure the strength coach will wonder why they didn’t stay home to race Gabe and others from across the river today.
