I can't wait to see what Graham Blanks can do once he's graduated and is living at altitude. 26:57 guy still in college doing a bunch of the work for a sub-27.
Graham Blanks is signing autographs and taking photos with fans.
Fan: "You have the best personality of any distance runner."
Graham: "Thanks. But I'd gladly trade my personality for a better kick."
Ooh, unfortunate for Gulveer Singh. 27:00.22 Indian national record, 0.22 away from the standard
And rankings will be tight this year because of all the people who have the standard. That .22 might keep him out of the race unless a lot of people scratch

It does look like he is now #1 of guys without the standard, but yes only a few spots do that’s dicey if the XC/Area champs spots are used.
Laugh/criticize all you want about his age while still in college; Casey is likely now the 5th best US 10,000 runner, chasing Fisher, Kincaid, Young, Blanks.
At USAs this summer, if Graham chooses just the 5000 while Woody's age catches up with him, Casey could be going to Tokyo, WA rankings permitting.

The Ahmed Muhumed who beat him by 8 seconds today is also American, he might be 6th best.
It was also a major improvement from McGorty's indoor results. He’s coming around.
Noticed that as well.
Not a pr tonight, but pretty close.
Sean's finally made it through full fall and winter training w/o injury.
His 3:58/mile and 7:47/3000 races were probably due to different/lighter training to keep him healthy. Jerry's changed things up a lot since the BTC haydays when everyone was either setting prs/world bests . . . or injured.
And, this may have been off no altitude training. Not sure, but from persing old BTC and athlete social media posts, don't think Jerry had them go up to Flagstaff this winter.
