Checked the roster and they're all from the US, and trackandfieldnews has the indoor WR at 9:19 (which I'm sure isn't right after this race at least). Could be?
Edit: thought you said VA initially, they're all from the US so yeah

This sets up a more wide open and great 3k than usual. Musau, Martin and Strand all have equal claim to be the favorite. Then you have Wolfe and Samuel who have the pedigree. Abdalla and Murphy you don’t feel great about but bad races happen.
Shoutout Jadyn Keeler from North Dakota in the 5000. 16:48 in 5000 and 38th in the west regional steeple last year to 15:27 and all American this year.

Marco Langon and Rocky Hansen are next up for USA runners. True sophomores running so strong in a pro-caliber field, against Samuel, Musau, and everyone's favorite super senior Clinger.
Musau was so impressive, Samuel gave it his all and really didn't have anything left. I think Arkansas leading from the gun would've worked had they truly committed, but there wasn't a lot of gas left in the tank.
Oh boy! did they throw us a crumb of just the winning throw? How fortunate we are!!! that’s what I hate about T&F coverage in the US. Here, watch all 30 laps of some boring ass race, also be happy we let you watch a 2 second clip of the winning jump/vault/throw right before the commercial, while someone who has no idea about the event narrates it. That is why tv ratings for track meets will always be low. nobody, outside parents or friends will watch it. It’s boring and not captivating to the general public. just call it what it really is, Track coverage.
Are any of the top guys in the 5k running the ten later in the month? Hopefully at least Bryan Clay. Insane times with some insane last few laps - you have to think Musau is in 12:57/27:10~ shape considering he walked down a 26:53 guy. Hansen's gotta be close too, at least in the 5k.
Edit: Statgangsta lap optimizer gives Musau a 12:56.98 optimized with his splits

Rocky Hansen might have been in like, 6th grade, when Casey Clinger was a freshman at BYU
And in Casey’s first season as a true freshman he became a first team All American.
This is Rocky’s 5th season. Cope
Casey its a joke. Are you excited to compete with your kid at BYU in a couple years? First parent+child duo on the same NCAA team I believe. Side note: It's Caseys 13th season and he still has ZERO NCAA titles. Cope
Also, (probably unpopular) opinion but I wish they replaced the open 200 with the 4x200 indoors. The 200 got cut from the world athletics indoor schedule for a reason - it was way too dependent on lane draw, and that still kind of holds true. An extra sprint relay indoors would be cool to watch.
Looked like he didn’t take off his sprint spikes and jumped in his Maxfly 2’s which are illegal on the WA shoe list. His last attempt is now listed as a foul. Wonder if that’s the case?

1. Maxfly 2s are illegal??? Are you serious? That's insane! Probably the most common spike on that track right now.
2. How far did he jump before it was ruled a foul...?
Glad she's been able to run well this indoor season
I was impressed with this run and happy to see it.
I’ll admit that I’m a Grace Hartman homer. I’ve followed her since she’s been in junior high school. If anyone could beat Grace today I’m glad it was Stearns.

2nd year collegians Hartman, Gapes, Kennedy, Noe appear to be the future of US women's collegiate distance running for the next 2-3 years. And, they're good enough now to be scoring significant points at NCAA championships.
Capable replacements for current stars LH-L, Chamberlain, Cogdon, Stearns.
With hs record holders Hedengren & Engelhardt arriving on campus in 6 months.
