Look Noah, I've always had a discord with you regarding my boy Hicham El King love Guerrouj and I don't want to start another one on my boy Kerr as well you feelin me?????? Aerobically and strength wise, Kerr is not inferior to Jakob and also has the superior running biomechanics!!!!!!!!!
He showed that at Prefontaine last year. Ingebrigtsen floundered behind Kerr.
Coming from an injury and running 3:45.60 (no. 11 performance ever). Dumb: he floundered...
Those two so far raced 12 times over 1500m/Mile (not counting heats).
Who won? I - I - I - I - I - I - I - I - K - K - K - I
Where has Kerr or his fans argued he's going to match the achievements of Rudisha? He competes over the 800 - he doesn't make claims to "greatness" over that distance.
There seems to be a perception from him and others that he's a strong 800m runner. We'll see, nobody said Rudisha. Jakob doesn't claims to greatness as a distance runner. He has World Records in the 3,000 and 2 mile, and 5K titles. Clearly he IS great at that.
Kerr's TT is out and he ran 22:24. Does indicate he could probably make it to 10K if he wants to pace the London Marathon at some point, which he's said he wanted to in the past. Not sure about 15K, we'd have to see:
Would you come out more into the open and say you are a fan of Kerr more often? This board needs such valuable support for Kerr at this moment to elevate and glorify him ahead of Jakob and Hocker.

Dumb: Kerr regularly beats him...
Kerr best Jakob when it mattered. This carries disproportionate weighting when you assess their performances. Sure Jakob gets the nod with more diamond league wins but those races are pressure free and without huge stakes. It doesn’t matter if Jakob ran prefontaine last year on an injury comeback as he couldn’t beat Kerr in Paris either after supposedly running 3:26:73 and in better shape than ar prefontaine. This speaks to a man who is mentally weak or one who is loosing his talent fast.

Except all the other times it mattered though. If Diamond leagues are so pressure free, why does he duck them? I dont get it.
Might be because he isnt repeat world champion and olympic champion in that distance.
That kind of reasoning hadn't stopped Ingebrigtsen saying the HM is his "best distance" or that he wants all the wrs from the 1500 to the marathon. So what has he done over 5k?
Can you point me to where you got that quote from? At this point I'm just curious.
He has won olympic gold, two WC golds and three EC golds in the span of 6 years. What has Kerr done over 800m since you think their situation is in any way comparable?
Kerrs 800 PB of 1:45 is laughable for someone who is strictly an 8/15 runner and tries to talk trash to Jakob about his 800 abilities, saying it would be like "a deer on ice" if Jakob ran in the 8/15 group in the GST.
1:45 is what Andreas Almgren runs, the European record holder in the 10k and second fastest European in the half marathon.

The quote came from an interview. I have quoted the article it appeared in previously.
I am not saying Kerr has achieved anything over the 800. He doesn't make that claim. Ingebrigtsen meanwhile makes claims about longer events (10k up) yet hasn't achieved anything over them.

Then what is even the point of talking about J.I 5000m at the same time as Kerrs 800m?
Anyways, I'll try to dig it up. Right now all I can find is an interview from 2021 whete Jakob Ingebrigtsen says that 3000m is probably his best distance.

I think the quote is from “The Times”, but if you don’t want to do the registration in order to get access to their archives I also think LetsRun quoted this interview on it’s main page a year ago or so.
Well, here is what I think Jakob said (paraphrasing): I’m a HM guy; the shorter the distance the worse I am -a little worse in the 10000m, a little worse than that in the 5000m, a little worse (than in the 5000m) in the 1500m…

I didn't raise it. Another poster did. Try reading the thread before you sound off.
You haven't searched very far. I posted the article (The Times) on another thread, where he claims the HM is his "best distance". I don't quote what I haven't seen.

If you look at their career progression you see that Kerr now dominates Ingebrigtsen. He beat him in the last WC, then Prefontaine and then the Olympics. Over a similar period Ingebrigtsen has been beaten by other 1500 runners, beginning with Wightman. 4th at Paris says his days as a 1500 champion are numbered. I wouldn't bet on him winning a other global 1500 championship - the last was Tokyo 2021.

Look sir, I want you to take a close look at this gorgeous so gorgeous so beautifully gorgeously moving Josh Kerr from 11:10 to 11:35, it's just surreal the beauty of his motion in space and time you feelin me????? This is the type of technique we do not see in Cole Hocker, Grant Fisher, Yared Nuguse, Hobbs Kessler and many other fake American runners. It's as close to El King Love Guerrouj's technique as it can get!!!!!!!!!
Please, I urge you to take closer order now!!!!! Next pay attention to 13:23 to 13:32. Danny Mackey is the most beautiful, most sincere and most honest speaking and acting from the heart distance coach in distance history you feelin me?????? He's clean alright!!!!! Contrast with Mike Scannell and Alberto Salazar who speaks and acts with a palpable artifice in their eyes, voice, body language!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is true, I'm an RF Physicist and am extremely perceptible to nuances in human electromagnetic behavior!!!!!!!!!!!! I won't ever be wrong, I say TRUST ME!!!!!!!!!! That's a big statement I know!!!!!!!
Thank you. Too many posters deny what they haven't read.
Where have I denied anything? I just wanted to see what he said for my self, and said the only thing I found there and then was a norwegian 2021 interview where he speculated that 3000m would be his best distance.

No, he doesn't dominate him. Ingebrigtsen has the fastest time of the year - year after year - by some margin. The last time they raced Ingebrigtsen has beaten Kerr. Kerr has beaten him three times in a row - after he lost eight times in a row (including three times at the global champs) to him.
Kerr has closed the gap and might even win when Ingebrigtsen leads from the gun or isn't at 100% - only you calls this domination.
Will Ingebrigtsen win another global gold or get the 1500m WR? I'm very sceptical for both. But let's wait and we'll see.
