To be fair no one has said that about Mc Cabe and she has been running in a lot of pro races for years. Seems like she has been in the NCAA for an eternity. I was rooting for her today, but I don't think anyone had an unfair advantage over her and no one bats an eye that she is still out there with all of her experience.
The men’s side is different but the top 3 women aren’t listed as very old and I don’t really have much evidence they are.

Will brag about picking 1-2-3 correctly. People consistently overrated Kosgei a little bit based on pedigree. Obviously she’s really good but people were acting like she won not medaled at Junior XC and that that sort of level eg 14:55 shape was unbeatable. Lemngole is just a little bit ahead for now, though I expect Kosgei to surpass her eventually.
What percentage of people do you think picked 1-2-3 correctly, like 50?

It is unbelievable that the coverage completely crapped out for the last half mile of the race and completely missed the finish and not one word of apology to the viewers. I guess if they admitted that they charged a lot of people for a broken product it might open them up to having to make retribution and they have no intention of doing that.
Future reference - when ESPN is covering the race, you are paying for the possibility of seeing the race with no guarantee that you will see sh1t. I am so mad!
It's something to do with the reception in Madison at the course. Go back and watch some other races here - the last NCAAs, some Pre-Nats, Nuttycombe, etc - it happens every time.
