From what I've heard, Parvej Khan altered his birth certificate to be am age cheat in the NCAA and actual age may be as old as 27.
We merged three threads into 1 and came up with a new title.
From what I've heard, Parvej Khan altered his birth certificate to be am age cheat in the NCAA and actual age may be as old as 27.

How could Palmer fall for a scam like this? It makes you wonder….
if I was a high school distance or middle distance kid I would be avoiding Florida like it’s Chernobyl.

This lines what with the way Will Palmer runs his program. He did this at Alabama too.
Palmer after Parvej exposes the whole dark underbelly of his distance program:
I’m guessing his cushy military job in India is now not an option too. He’s ineligible to compete, so I imagine they don’t want him eating up their funding and bringing dishonor to their program. He will never be heard of again in athletics, and will never return to the US. He’s done.
I think I am clueless. I am devastated every time I see something like this. The math says all cheaters will be caught - so why cheat?
I am really sad.
This is a straight lie. You don't know Will Palmer or how he runs his program, other than back to back SEC XC team titles and the first NCAA trophy in Alabama XC Womens History. Will Palmer has never age cheated a day in his life. Don't throw stones from a glass house.
The character of Will Palmer, Sam Palmer and their staff is top notch. And I will happily talk with anyone who wants to about this. You just have to step out behind your anonymous screen name. I will gladly do so.

Do you mean he's using school funding to travel to and enter juniors' meets? The NCAA doesn't have juniors competitions.
This post is comedy…Palmer is ethical? Do you really know this dude? All he cares about is winning…he has no moral compass. Don’t let him fake you - He wants to win and get a HC job somewhere, that’s it. He has no loyalty. He does’t give a crap about kids or his colleagues/staff - it’s about him, always will be. He’ll burn anyone if it helps himself…most arrogant dude ever. Alabama gave him a break, then he burned Alabama numerous times to get a leg up. He treats other teams rosters as a personal menu…ask Joe Franklin how that works. He is a cheater and a liar. You think he cares about cheating? He only cares about getting caught. Hope this burns him down. And Dave Smith would whip his @$$ any day - I’d love to see it.

Well said. Will Palmer is a professional cheat and deserves all the bad publicity.
Karma baby Karma
Source: World Athletics Profile: Parvej Khan
Birthdate: 26 December, 2004.
2024: Age 19...
According to the statistics on world athletics Khan ran 1:55.54 for 800 m in 2018 when, if going by his birth date, he would have only been 13 years young! ....not yet even 14....(listed birthdate: 26/12/2004).
Has any 13 year old ever approached this time?
Seems like there is a major discrepancy with regard to his age listed on the website.
Did coach Palmer ever do his due diligence when recruiting this Indian phenom? Khan has now turned into a phenom but not for the good reasons.

Scroll down, and right....to progression.
I'm guessing by his physical appearance and also previous statistics that Khan is anywhere from 27 to 30 years old at present but of course this is subjective.
I feel bad for him and Indian athletics in general because even though what he did or what he was alleged to have done was wrong and EPO or not, the kid still had potential which has now been nullified, possibly forever.
It appears the wrath of Kahn strikes, and the University of Florida cross-country T&F team has suffered a major blow, and is now taking on water.
But wait! Maybe Coach Palmer’s departed friend, Parker Valby, will come back for her last year of eligibility, to help her old friend and restore dignity to the University of Florida and save the day, helping Florida garner it’s first ever NCAA Div I Cross-Country Title on the women’s side!
We need a Canadian script writer on this.

Well I have an idea. You know who is really at fault here?
THE GERMANS
That Dieter Baumann guy and his slander on Colgate. Invaded Denmark and lo and behold, that Bjarne Mrs 80 Riis guy
I refuse to acknowledge the existence of Norway. What? They’re a bunch of Scandinavian pagans. They reek of herring and barely believe in EPO. I like Malmö though. Great song, personal favorite.
EDIT: Sully was boned by EPO jockeys love my Mountie friends
Lifetime Ban if he’s convicted beyond a reasonable doubt!!!
Khan has 1:46/3:36 credentials. I'm guessing, without EPO...maybe a 1:48/1:49/3:39/3:40.....still good, especially in India.
This 100 percent. Poach the Alabama roster every single year and karma has an interesting way of being a real b$@&! Put an * on Valby.
This is all so incredibly well deserved for the Palmers.

I’m thinking you might’ve gone a little too far. His big jump was in 2021. Let’s suppose that’s a combo of drugs and some maturity. Why couldn’t the guy be born in 1999-2001? That’d be typically the years of greatest improvement. This picture is from November 2019 and I’d probably put him at 18-20 if I had to place him.
