Really solid races from the 1500 men. Hobbs needs to learn that leading is not the only way to run a solid tactical race and Hocker did a better job not leading and using less energy, but Hobbs definitely ran better than he did in the rounds or at USAs.

I completely disagree. No way Hobbs would have got a medal without attempting to pull off the Centro move. Look at what happened in ABQ. Hobbs was bouncing around like he was in a pinball machine and got wiped out by Hocker.

Absolutely great showing from the US mid distance crew! What a gutsy race from Mackay! Love to see her take a shot up front like that and it paid of with a medal. Tough run by Hiltz. 4 US medals in the 1500! Gold in the Women’s 3k, Men’s 800. Silver in the Men’s 3k. Yes, some big names are missing from this meet but this has been a breakthrough for US mid-d.
Great run by Kessler. Held his ground with a great efficient trip and he had something left all the way to the end.
Agree. It's really great to see him rewarded after getting through a rough period in his career. First World Champ for the OAC and Coffee Club
Yep, I remember him being happy for Ollie running Diamond Leagues and winning the Commonwealth Games while he was trying to ramp up to 60 miles a week. Very happy for him.
Miscounting laps at Millrose and still going toe-to-toe against Hocker for 3rd was the best thing that could have happened to him!
Excellent win for Hailu, but what happened to Weltjei and Haylom though? Really surprising to see the likes of Mackay and Hiltz (and the British girl) run all over them.
