It seems like Whitney has some guys missing from last year. Senior jamieson was their #1 last year but hasn’t run a race. Tajiri had a 16:27 PR but here he ran a 17:30. And Olivera from Oakdale went from 16:49 last year / sub 10 in track to a 18:24 this year. Shame to see talent disappear like that.
Mason Oliveira was in a pretty bad accident over the summer. I know he’s working to get back into shape at the moment. If the accident didn’t happen he’d probably be fast than his twin and Oakdale would be a really solid team this year.
I used to work with his mom. He’s healthy now, just way behind on fitness. Oakdale is about 15 min north of us. We see those guys all the time. A very well deserved ranking for them.
Granada - #3 in the USA based on these times. Looks like the 1-3 gap is closing like it did last spring. If that 1-3 gap closes at CIF, this team could beat San Clemente in the merge at CIF
Campolindo must have just uploaded that. I didn't see it on there yesterday. Also why do the HOKA results not show up anywhere else? Do they not get love from the results and rankings sites?

Did you know? During the pandemic, our four sports (Boys XC, Girls XC, Boys T&F, Girls T&F) accounted for 4 of the 5 sports with the biggest percentage drop in participation numbers of all HS sports in California. Currently, there is no distance relay at the state meet (1/2) ...
Who cares all these teams are DONE. What really matters is who has the best incoming 8 th grade class.
Done? First off, season isn’t over, and state qualifying meets haven’t even started yet. Great Oak’s legacy is done now, yes.
Newbury Park will be done after this school year.
San Clemente is actually the opposite of done. Last year they made state for the first time in 30+ years. This year they are looking to win D1 state and make NXN. And look, they return 5 of their top 8 for next year so they will be fine again next year.
SFL League was run on the same course later that day. I am sure they will change it to read 3M at some point. They (William Jessup) have managed to get this course wrong is several different ways over the last two years. Last year it was a short 5K, earlier this year it was a long 5K, and now this one.
Anyone know when the Newbury Park top 7 is racing next?
They have a league meet on Thursday, but that's basically a tempo run for them. So next time they'll race for sure is probably either Southern Section Prelims or Division finals which are the next weeks weekend
