Ahhh. Except he didn’t have any results from this season. And according to your argument, he would be “paced and drafted” so it would not count. Try again!

Kudos are trying to move the goalposts.
Except I clearly stated that it would have to be in one season. Try again Astro!
You are hilarious. You dared me to cite one example. So easily I just did. But then you are like "oh yeah, well he did not even have any competitive races this season" which makes your argument worse. As to pacing, unless Nico was acting as his personal running valet pacing him for the entire race, it was akin to a traditional paced race.
I also said it had to be before coronavirus shutdown. Sadly you did not read correctly. If it was in multiple seasons of course there is a chance an athlete, especially a teen, would improve year to year because they are stronger. Try again Astro!
Ok. On February 22, 2020 Aschbrenner ran 8:24.23 in the 3000m. That converts in the 3200 to about 9:01.39. Thanks for playing.
You did not understand. The 8:44 is after the shutdown. His point is that if somebody runs 8:44 in a time trial today, they will run faster in a real race tomorrow. You have not provided an example to the contrary.
Alas! The 8:44, as I said before, is during the pandemic. Tut tut Astro. Better try again!

FWIW I plugged her 4xmile session into the Purdy Tables, which are a time-tested system for generating workouts, and that performance was assigned to a level of 9:20 for two miles. She is definitely one of, if not THE most aerobically strong high school girls of all time. And yes that includes Tuohy.

She looked like a different runner. Her physique and her form have transformed.
