So, to you Trumpers, you can gloat. I was wrong. I ALWAYS admit when I was wrong. I am very surprised. The country is dumber than I thought it was, and I keep making that mistake. Maybe I have learned this lesson now.
Unlike what some others have said, I actually DON'T want Trump supporters to suffer under Trump's presidency. I hope he oversees 4 years of unparralleled prosperity, because I want the best for all Americans. I also hope that he is gone in 4 years and that we DO have another election in 2028 and not a dictatorship that gets passed down to his children. I think this is a real concern. I hope to be WRONG about that.
I DID say that one thing would be true...if Trump wins, it will be INTERESTING. I have no idea what is going to happen other than justice will not be served against him, and I expect chaos of some sort, but what exactly that will entail is beyond me.
I am a logical person, not an emotional one, so I have already moved all the way to acceptance with this result. Doesn't mean it doesn't seem nutso to me, but I accept that this is the will of the American people.
In closing, congrats to the victors here.

I, personally, can't be harmed econmically by anything Trump does unless he starts to raid everyone's retirement accounts and seize personal property. On the one hand, Flagpole eats crow for his arrogance and misplaced confidence.
On the other hand, Ukraine’s independence is finished, Thomas and Alito will quickly be replaced by Trump minions, untold numbers of Americans will suffer and the country is a big step closer to an authoritarian strongman state.
It’s a high price to pay.
Forgot to comment on the strongman thing...this is not good. This is never good. I can only HOPE that our Constitution will keep Trump from being a full-fledged dictator, but I'm not sure who the stoppers are.

Nobody should be gloating, there is nothing to gloat about. The silent majority voted against the soft coup, the border insurrection, the censorship and media editing and carefully curated “personality” of Harris, and the woke brigade of the past four years. Ultimately, the double haters broke for Trump as the consistent hubris and condescension of the likes of a Flagpole or agip or Harambe in real life proved to be too off putting.
There are no winners tonight. There is nothing to gloat about. Trump is not a panacea. But my advice to the Dems, next time run a process. And, yes, I do think we are going to experience a recession under Trump that was coming anyway and that the GOP will suffer for it. But, for the time being, people saw through the Kabuki. What happened to Trollminator? He was the loudest and proudest kid here…
I am actually refreshed that the majority did not buy into KD's candidacy. My reaction is the good news is that KH will not be President and the bad news is DJT will be. I feared the former more than the latter.
Besides, even if somehow there were actual crimes committed at the ballot box, what is anyone going to do about it? Trump could declare in his inauguration speech that he stole the election and list all the crimes he committed on the way and the Senate will still never vote to convict him.
I suspect there is some truth to this. Jill Biden wearing a very bright and deliberately red suit to go vote sent the message. That’s not a mistake you make unless you’re trying to flip off the Democratic apparatus (elites, media, Hollywood) who tried to engineer the outcome. I don’t blame her.
