Parkes posted Strava video of him crossing the 50k finish line holding his camera is too much cringe.
Poor Ben. Give the guy a break; a 50k race, given his recent lack of training, is a big deal.
I don't know why people get so offended by him. If anything, I feel sorry for him - trapped in a cycle of injury and depression.
He must hate having to create content about his hobby jogging times, but probably also hates declining views.
I can see the annoyance, though, of him being gifted places to oversubscribed races, then calming he's treating them as a training run.
It also amazes me that people spend £30 on a "getting it done" cap! I've seen a few fellow middle-aged hobby joggers with backwards-facing Ben Parks caps—a terrible look! I wonder if they then purchase his training plans, that he can't even follow!
Does anyone know anything about social media usage in South Korea?
I've been to China before and know there are very strict access-issues for a number of Western social media sites. I'm curious only because Matt Fox's last Strava upload said he was off to SK then radio silence for ~2 weeks on Strava, IG, no podcasts either - so was wondering if maybe his monthly Marathons caught up with him (ie injury) or if it's just a common internet usage issue?

Social media usage in South Korea is pretty high and there is pretty easy access to high speed internet everywhere. It's nothing like China.

Fair enough, thanks. I had a look and his partner hasn't posted on Strava for the same period of time so I guess it's a coverage thing (instead of injury).
You realise my own posts got deleted? Didn't report myself.
That was tit for tat and retribution for the posts that you had removed, dumb dumb.
to be honest I dont mind admitting that was actually me that reported one of the posts. I havent followed most of the back and forth but someone wished death on the poster which I think is pretty inappropriate for the site, or life in general
