Javelin is a hybrid event between Throws, Jumps, Sprints. Many throws coaches don’t treat it that way, so that’s why there’s so many injuries in that event. A general knowledge throws coach will overtrain them.

Womans distance coach has already left, kurt out early september. Pressure is on to find replacements. How about they give a long term deal and say build us a program that has a chance to be competitive. You arent getting touhy to providence but you can get some good distance runners and develop them. AD's in the ivy league make good money, lets see what Grace Calhoun has in the tank. Next coach needs 6 years to build up the recruiting and work some magic on development. Easy to talk about but not easy to execute...good luck to the bears.
