They’re probably hundreds of people who have JD Vance’s story. Less impressive when you realize that half or more of was life was because a billionaire back to him because he knew he was malleable.

As voters, we can elect candidates with minimal ethics violations. We do not have to accept corruption. We can demand that those who are corrupt are convicted and ousted from office by holding politicians accountable at the voting booth.
Examples: Senator Menendez and Congressman Santos. Both rightfully ousted from office by legal means for corruption.

No, they are not. That is just a very weak excuse to accept corruption. MOST members of Congress and Senate have never been convicted of a crime rising above a speeding ticket, nor indicted, nor even credibly accused.
Americans do not have to accept corruption, but many choose to accept it or are unaware because they are grossly uninformed.
