The Second Battle of Kharkiv not only gave Russian political and military planners a greater awareness of Ukraine's dire military situation, but it also showed that the United States government were no longer interested in helping Ukraine retain Donbas. Thus, the optimism and confidence of the Moscow regime was significantly strengthened, because they could finally bring Ukraine to the peace table and end the special military operation.

This is an independence war and it calls for discrimination in killing. The best weapon for killing would be a knife, but I'm afraid neither side can do it that way. The worst is an airplane. The next worst is artillery. Barring a knife, the best is a rifle — you know who you're killing.

Or now, a drone.

I predict that in the next war of indepence on "U.S." soil, there will be a lot of knife kills.

Russia has infiltrated the White House. Senior Trump administration officials stepped in to get Tenet Media's Lauren Chen a visa. Chen lost her visa after DOJ found that Russia was using Tenet Media to funnel millions to US right wing podcasters.

Then, Putin in a phone call with Trump accuses Ukraine of launching a large drone attack on one of his residences in Novgorod (yes, Putin, a life long civil servant, has a number of palaces that were gifted to him by oligarchs). Trump laps it up and tells the media he is "very angry" at Ukraine for launching the attack. The problem is that Russia has no evidence of an attack on Novgorod even though they claim that Ukraine sent 100 drones. There are no independent Russian bloggers who have posted any evidence of the attack, which, if it really happened, would have either triggered a massive response by Russian air defenses and/or resulted in the recovery of dozens of downed drones. It is almost like claiming a tornado hit your neighborhood but refusing to provide any pictures of the damage.

Of course, this was pure Russian propaganda to try to justify Russia moving the goal posts in peace negotiations while carrying out brazen attacks on civilian targets.
