A mystery for the ages: either a country that has been carpet bombing Gaza for a week blew up a hospital or Hamas suddenly developed the most powerful rocket in their arsenal, previously unknown to the world, and then dropped it on themselves.
You have zero knowledge of Hamas missile payloads.
Cool bit Israel are blaming Islamic Jihad.
you have no idea of the size of the explosion or how many were killed.
Sources on the ground are widely reporting about 500 dead, that’s the best we have for now.
You ignore the videos of a misfiring rocket at the same time as the explosion.
Why don’t you go with ‘sources on the ground’ for your news on Gaza? Better source than whatever that is. ‘the cradle? ‘ tune up your bs meter old man.
after you do that, look up ‘Carpet bombing’ and then come back to post. It’s not happening in Gaza.
20-30% of rockets from Gaza fail and fall within Gaza’s own borders. Last year Hamas launched over 1000 missiles towards Israel in a 56 hour period, with roughly 20% of those missiles failing and falling in Gaza which accounted for 1/3 of the deaths in their own area. That battle lasted only 56 hours. How many more terrorist missiles have failed this go round?

Since 2001 all rockets launched from Gaza COMBINED haven’t killed 500 people.
Since you’ve got all the numbers. Tell us how many those failed rockets killed combined in 20 years plus?

Um, at least 500 are estimated dead at the hospital they just struck with their own incompetence. So I’m guessing at least 501 since 2001. That’s just a ballpark figure though.

something like 25% of the rockets fail. I have no idea how many people they have killed. And that doesn't mean anything anyway. You have no reason to believe the palestinian account other than that you are inclined to believe them. You are not looking for truth or care - you want that quick hit of dopamine of righteous outrage.
Don’t get mad because they killed over 500 with one errant missile and you said they haven’t killed that many combined in 2 decades. Just take the L and move on. Let’s set the over/under at 750, I’m taking the over. You want to bet the under? Me thinks you’d lose that wager.

Very small number sis the answer, their rockets don’t have that capacity.
900 pound warheads are pretty large. Even a young man should know that. As well as knowing that most of the gaza/S Israel area is dirt with nothing to hit. When you fire 100 missiles, odds are the misfires will hit just dirt. But when you fire 5000+ missiles, odds are that a misfire will hit a building.
But yeah you get your news from 'the cradle' so this is pretty advanced for you.
Anything else I can help you with, since I am older and wiser than you apparently?

You used to be a reasonable commentator here. You’re turning into adultintheroom with your need for petty insults with strangers online. You don’t need to do that.
You've managed to insult me for being old and then young within the space of minutes. Just maybe you’re taking this too personally and losing some of your decency.

possibly true that I have lost some patience and once in a while use LRC to blow off some steam, I'll agree with you there and this is an example of that.
Something about your utter uncaring for seeking the truth and your distasteful rejection of wise caution during fog of war situations really ticked me off.

Let me spell it out for you, slick. I'll use small words.
Mahmood Jihadi launches a rocket at Tel Aviv. This rocket has enough fuel to travel 120 miles, but malfunctions and only travels about 1000 yards. So it lands with a full load of highly-flammable rocket fuel, in addition to whatever explosive warhead it had. Big kaboom, big fire.
