This gives you just a tiny snapshot of Trump's foreign policy for the United States. People wonder why Trump always sides with the world's most corrupt regimes. It has nothing to do with ideology. He doesn't care if a regime is leftist or right. It is 100% transactional. The corrupt regimes are willing to pay to play. The traditional US allies don't. So he has no use for our alliances. Trump would have continued to sell off the country to the highest bidder. If it wasn't nailed down it was for sale.
This is also a big reason why Trump wants back into the White House. He needs to be made whole from his business fraud judgements. I fully expect that money has already been committed or exchanged hands with his visits at Mar A Lago with Bibi and Orban.
