A lot of this comes down to Gary being a simpleton, like millions of Americans. Simpletons tend to have a binary view of the world and its workings and gravitate to easy thinking and problem solving. Trump is a classic simpleton, except he is only guided by power vs weakness and rich vs poor, not by right vs wrong. Being a simpleton shouldn't be a big problem, but it is when ignorance and stubbornness are part of the package. I get the whole contrarian thing and feeling attacked for thinking differently or even just questioning something. That's valid. But when faced with a wall of evidence one shouldn't continue to maintain a position of ignorance and defiance. When that happens you need to go out and meticulously explore the alternative and provide evidence to support your position, otherwise no one will listen to a simpleton, and for good reason.
I don't care if you call me names, but if you call me "wrong" and can back it up, then I'll take notice.
The problem all you liberals have here is that I've been right about this investigation from the very beginning. I recognized it for what it was. I nailed it. That's how we settle the score around here. Whoever is right wins.
I'm one of the few people actually engaging in political science. I put my ideas out there as theories, and then the real world reveals if I am right or wrong. If I am wrong I change my theory and try again. That's science. I've been doing that for over 30 years and I'm getting good at it.
Most of you liberals are engaging in political demagoguery, and you go nuts when the real world challenges your liberal orthodoxy. You refuse to consider that you might be wrong. That's not political science. It's political hackery.
